Is it ever acceptable to boo players?

I've barely ever heard city fans boo a player which tells you just how diabolical Bony has been for us.

Or it tells you how fucked in the head some fans have become

Bony's had his chance, he failed to grasp it all season. As a result he has been holding back the development of one of the best youngsters in the premier league. Its not like he was booed for every touch he made, but more the decision to introduce him that was booed. He did infact get a cheer when he managed to get a touch, he could of had a few more cheers if he had the ability to anticipate the ball and the effort to get to it

You clearly weren't at Maine rd in Goaters early days when some parts of the crowd booed him when he was warming up FFs Closest I have come to snotting a fellow blue but he wisely left

I'd go with the decision.

After he came on I was praying for him to score and he came extremely close just going over the bar. If he'd scored a hat trick I'd have wanked on the pitch.

But if a player sprinkles little to no effort on top of not being good enough then booooooo away.

It could be argued he is not suited to the way the team plays but that still does not excuse the lack of effort he has put in this season.

Regardless of your style of play, movement, closing down opposition players and working hard for your team are basic requirements many think he has not fulfilled. I have not booed him but I could understand why others would be tempted too.

Nacho made a few glaring mistakes due to inexperience so I assume that's why he came off?

I can see why we boo'd Joey Barton when he said he wouldn't sign a new contract. But to boo Wilfried Bony yesterday was a disgrace! Give the lad shit in the pub with your mates after games or on here, but don't boo him!
