The Stone Roses/Ian Brown

Sounds like something Squire had left over from The Seahorses. Shittest lyrics on a song since the other Squire beauty of "Strap on Sally, she chased us down the alley, we feared for our behinds"

Its a poor return unfortunately.

Fuck me, that needs airbrushing.

Sounds like a stadium song, to get everyone singing along... They'll open up their big arena gigs with it.

Not a big fan of it tbh.... But I enjoy the original LP so much and naturally compare that to this (which is unfair)

Lyrics are god awful, good melody in the middle but not even on the same planet as the Roses tunes from back in the day.

Dreadful. Not sure why they'd even bother if that was the best they could muster. Just bang out the old tunes and coin it in if you have to. No need for this kind of shit at all.

nowt wrong with it, yes the lyrics are a bit iffy, musically pretty good, more pluses than minuses
Don't know why people are getting excitable about the lyrics. Let's face it, they were never great lyrically.

I bet the vast majority of people whinging about the lyrics are Oasis fans.

Go figure.

I like it. It doesn't sound like the first LP but let's face it they were 27 years younger then and that captured a moment wonderfully. This is them now.

It doesn't have that 'mystery' or need deciphering like their early stuff does but it's uplifting and full on rock and roll.

It sounds like the Roses, Noel Gallagher, Slade and Status Quo mixed up in a bowl and hurled out at you with a big Lemon shaped spoon.

It's like one of those paintings that somebody did by dipping their cock in a tin of paint and bashing about a canvass a bit.

I could do with one of these to liven up the front room, where could i buy such a painting?
