I wonder if he's ever been to Manchester?

Let's be honest he's a tier 2 manager who Utd turned down because he lacked Premiership experience!Pep's a failure in the Champions League, he's only won 2 out the last 7 consecutive semi-finals he's managed to get to. It must be true the media say so...
In fact according to Paul Wilson at the Guardian Pep has more chance of making an impact in the Europa League.

I believe it was Ed Woodward who leaked that to the press. I love Ed Woodward.Let's be honest he's a tier 2 manager who Utd turned down because he lacked Premiership experience!
They should call him Ed Wood after the film maker!I believe it was Ed Woodward who leaked that to the press. I love Ed Woodward.
Where have I said that? If you read what I wrote carefully you will see I meant both the league and CL are as important. Pellegrini has said finishing 4th so we have to qualify for next season IF we get at least a draw against Swansea and a CL semi appearance and a CoC trophy represents a good season.Am I reading this correct, are you suggesting our priorities should be to just qualify for the CL year on year and not be too worried how far we progress in it each time?
Huge weekend!:
Disaster if we cock this up.
After last season, it became a high risk strategy of keeping Manuel in place as the route of least resistance for the board whilst we waited for Pep. We could see from last season that Pellegrini should probably have gone, tomorrow's result will have a big bearing on whether this was a risk worth taking. Our regression is plainly there for all to see, I just hope the damage done isn't that deep it takes Pep an extended period to rectify it.we simply were too nice. our board aren't thick, they could see that that MP was not up to the job, I could so they must have done. problem was he went and fluked the bloody title, so a bit like lvg across the road if he wins the cup he's technically unsackable. doesn't excuse what's gone on since mind, he's made error after error and for a club with ambitions as high as ours its bordering on negligence to have kept him in place. no great mither to the fans, we've proved we'll watch city at any level, but for "the project" its a commercial disaster.
Even if we win at Swansea, if Liverpool win the Europa League they will get the last Champions league spot and we will miss out. Has anyone considered that possibility? If that happens, Pep will surely exercise the get out clause he placed in the contract as there is no way he will come here if we are not in the UCL. He would probably then take over from the turtle at the swamp. Who would we go for then... Martinez, Moyes, McLaren? Why do we always fuck up?

I've heard Big Fat Sam has been mooted. Mansour is impressed with his ability to keep teams up. Good choice, and I don't think we should be chasing Pogba he's never produced in the premier league.I've heard Big Fat Sam has been mooted. Mansour is impressed with his ability to keep teams up. I believe the transfer ban will leave us in a bad position
