Its ridiculous thats a goal every 4.79 minutes..only in unprofesional football and thats if its ever happened
18-0 will do it for them - assuming the obligatory 10 minutes injury time, that's only goal every 5.6 mins. Time to panic ...

Otamendi emerges with no credit at all from today or the season as a whole.
Can't pass, gives away stupid free kicks and out of position way too often. A big disappointment overall.
What, when we still had Sinclair, Rodwell, Garcia, Micah, Lescott and Maicon?ours three seasons ago
Don't forget Nigel he alone did the work it takes the Ferns to do together.Erm, the one that had Tevez and Dzeko supporting Aguero, rather than Bony and Nacho, and Gaz Baz, Lescott, a fit Kompany and a mobile Ya Ya
Haha, mate, that is pretty much the conversation I've just had. Felt like throwing the TV through the fucking window.
I disagree about Nacho though, it was only a game as bad as last week against Arsenal, lol - he's got great promise but just so raw at the moment.
Bog Brush will miss out ?Sky reporting no time soon
Maybe not before Cup final now
Our owner must have known we had Pep in the bag and I respect the decision that they thought Pellegrini deserved to see out his final year and they trusted him to do so comfortably I suspect. I think scraping 4th on the final day of the season was not in their thinking as they probably thought a good talking to after last season and what he achieved in his first was enough to trust him.
I think this season has brought 2013-2014 into perspective as many of the character traits which have failed us over the last two seasons were present as far back as then. Many spotted it back then but many more missed it, but as the months passed by and turned into seasons it's all became glaringly clear we were tactically regressing from day one.
He's gone now, but some how I feel the polarised opinions of his tenure will continue to cause debate and divide.

Don't think so.. Lol :-)
In addition to spending half the game on his arse.
You forgot Rodwell, Johnson, Sinclair, Richards, Lescott, Maicon, Garcia, Guidetti and Razak. That squad? The one where Kompany, Zab, Silva, Nasri and Yaya were in their prime. Oh and Tevez. Much stronger than now.
That's stating the obvious, lol.I think Nacho has been mismanaged. He's too young for us to be relying on him from the start in big games. He was a player to bring on for 20-30 mins.

He's fed up... he's often the lone striker, and we're playing a lot of long balls up to him - against 6'4 defenders, or we're trying to play Hollywood style passes that 90% of the time just won't get through a decent defence. What the hell is up with Aguero these days?
He threw the jacket and the bloke caught it, end of

He's started coming deeper and deeper to get the ball himself, but by then, there's nobody in the middle - so it's self defeating.
In my view, he's so desperate to have more of the ball, that when he gets it, he's trying too hard and taking on far too many defenders and losing the ball. I'm oversimplifying things I know, but that's my general opinion.
For him to be effective in the middle, he needs great supply, and he's just not getting enough of that. There's probably only KdB and Silva capable of thinking on his level.
Honestly mate, all you have to do is compare and contrast our squad list with the rest of the Premier League and which ever way I look at it, we still come out with the strongest. What we are lacking is down to a manager who has failed to get the sum of the parts available to him, imo it's as simple as that.Anyone that knows their football knows that the last 18 months have been unacceptable. But a quality manager can even make a difference with the same players. Just look at the impact Klopp has had a Lpool.
Hopefully Pep will clear out the deadwood and we can push on next season. But with the amount of players required the title may be a big ask next season. But fingers crossed.
At what point were we clinging on today
