Great documentary by Paxman on the beeb last night. Well worth a watch.

I wasn't gonna watch it, but Paxo always delivers even when he's on the opposite side of the fence. 'Twas very good. He didn't make too much of a point of the money pee-ed up the wall in job creation for politicians and the £100 million pee-ed up the wall massaging French egos by shipping out to Strasbourg every month. Unbelievable, Jeff. Actually, it's not too incredibile. I can believe the most outrageous things that emanate from the Parliament, Commission and CoM!

I have to laugh at the argument put forward by Inners - By leaving you have no idea where your going. It's a leap in the dark!

I think the same argument applies to those who want out. By staying you have no idea where the fuckin' monster is gonna be in twenty years time! Just look at what's happened to a simple trade deal we joined forty years ago!

My ERO texted me this morning telling me that the EU had LENT Manchester some money for the Metro. Lent, I said, LENT! Eveyone else gets it given!

The EU-Turkey migrant deal, designed to halt the flow of migrants from Turkey to Greece, is falling apart just two months after it was reached. European officials are now looking for a back-up plan.Sahra Wagenknecht of the Left Party accused Merkel of negotiating the EU-Turkey deal without involving her European partners: "The chancellor is responsible for Europe having become vulnerable to blackmail by the authoritarian Turkish regime."

The EU needs to talk to the Dutch. They are past masters at shoving a finger in a dyke!

Good to see that the s'lebs have weighed in en masse today with a resounding REMAIN!
In times of personal strife and conflict, I often wonder 'what would Paloma Faith do in this situation?

I've cut myself off the Mainstream media recently and attempted to read general publics views on the EU Ref.

I've become more confused and undecided Haha, but this is probably due to my lack of education in the 90's

Im more in the Out group, and want to vote out, however I genuinely think even if everyone turned out and voted out tomorrow, those in power would overthrow the result and remain in, or have another vote and further push their views on us.

So does it even matter if we (the nobodies) vote?

And I'm voting out because simply put... In my day to day life I'm surrounded more and more by European migrants who openly don't speak English (even though they fluently can when selling you something)
This pisses me off.
The countries have had far better training programmes which has resulted in many polish lads who know the building trade coming here and gaining work... Great they work, but many have undercut the British lads and work for less, so people who have lived here and contributed much more can't get the work.

That's just the building trade as an example.

I also have seen the same situation with Mechanics, with migrants able to repair cars for much cheaper... Great we can get our VW's repaired cheaper than the English mechanic can but he then has to either earn much less or come out of the game.... And I've found the people who have come here are more prone to tax avoidance.
*NOT All.... But many who I've seen trading. Probably just as many British people who trade as well mind you.

Ideally I'd like to see a system which allows us to protect our borders more. Is this achievable out of the EU???
I don't know...

I meet lads who've come from East Europe and have done all sorts of dodgy shit over there.
Come here, gain employment, no background checks, happy days for them.
They'll work hard, send their money to family in their "homeland" and fuck the English.

How is it I can try to gain entry into USA and or AUS yet they'll fine comb me with a toothpick and refuse entry based on employability, criminal checks and so on... Yet go over to Russia right now, chop up some poor bugger with an axe, do some time in a prison there, then come to England with a new name, unchecked and gain employment???

If we came out of the EU and so this was still possible (the flooding of economic migrants from EU) then what's the point in opting out anyway as this is my main gripe.

Top post mate.& i no where you're coming from, seen it in manchester & other parts off the uk were only eastern europeans are employed onsites work & sleep on the job & no brits,
I could name quite a few in manchester were no locals were on the jobs but had also employed illegals.and nothing got reported by our local press, even after the sites were raided by officials not once but many a time,
Seen engineering companies get rid off britts only then to employ cheap labour(carpark full off eastern reg plates),wages are back to the 70ish near enough.while everything else is rocketing.
Theres no way are youth will get proper skill whilst this is going on,instead off a proper apprenticeship they just employ some one who a cheap alternative & take a chance..

The problem is these days people aged 18 to 24 (well earlier but they cant vote) a vast majority look at celebs and people who are not famous but are celebrities somehow do use them for what they should do, think, feel, act, behave. Thats why we are now watching a stream of vacuous self entitled bunch of utter cunts also become celebs who in turn the young then follow

I have gone a bit of point there. What im actually saying is a vast majority of 18-24yr olds will have there vote swayed by a "celeb" if they even know what a vote is like Charlotte Church

These comments echo the feelings of many of the working class, and the intellectual left just do not get it. The sharp end of the economy's health
is often indicated by the building trade, which is doing well, but native employees within it are certainly not. My mate has worked within it all his life and his earnings have remained stagnant
for years, all the sites he works on are full of Eastern Europeans who will gladly work for the lowest wages, as earnings in their countries are around 20% of what they can get here.

I got out of the building game about 7 years ago now when after being qualified for 3 years my wages were the same as they were before and other jobs I went and looked at were offering less. so I knocked it on the head, destroying my body for the same wage at 55 i was earning at 23 was of no interest

It must be noticed that the Chilcot enquiry results are to be made public on July 7th.
Again THEY take us for idiots.
The nasty revelations are released a month after the Brexit vote, so as not to cause citizens disquiet before the most important vote in Britain for centuries.
Also the Black art of Propaganda is in play,
July 6th is of course the anniversary of D-DAY. A large scale MSM demonstration of jingoism is to be expected to deflect ,distract, divert and dilute attention to the Chilcot findings.
Play the fife, beat the drum, wave the flag and the sleeple step into line to their destruction and impoverishment
It was ever thus, and makes one weep at the docile temperament of the population.

Good job there's people around like you who aren't taken in by it all who can tell all of the uninformed sheeple how it really is.
Baaaa

For me the worst things is i told my elected MP,what i seen & he just brushed it aside,But what's even worst is(been told by mates) lads who worked all there life making decent wages, then wages plummeted, got into financially difficulties & took their life..
Watched a few programs with panelist regarding in/out,when asked about bringing wages down hardly any off them said yes, some even stated wages are rising, they do not no whats happening in the real world...
And without getting political Labour made this mess with its open door policy,& only just grew the balls to acknowledge their fk up.& still they didn't want to give us a vote on in/out
I take my chances on getting out because anything got to be better than the status quo..

And how long have Conservative had to turn immigration policy's around ?

In or Out the EU - people will still moan about immigration

It is impossible to reduce immigration to the levels the conservatives aimed for (tens of thousands) whilst remaining in the EU, because immigration from the EU alone exceeds that limit.

It's weird, some people seem to struggle to grasp this. It isn't about being anti-immigration, it's about being able to control the numbers to ease the strain on services and stop wage depression for our most vulnerable workers. Probably much easier to brand people racist or moaners than to address the issue.
