I watched a game of theirs recently where every routine save he made was described as outstanding Monotowen, cringeworthy stuff.

I also didn't hear any criticism of his jelly wrist on Reid's header ( you know the one that denied them CL football ), the type of thing Hart would get slaughtered for.

He's typically Spanish. He makes saves for the camera, if he can't save it most of the Time he wont even bother to dive. But because he plays for the rags of course it's the best save ever made (until his next save)

I'm not saying he's a bad keeper but better than hart? My arse.

I've said it for ages that he's overrated. I can't recall which game it was, but he made a routine stop and Michael Owen was saying that's why he's the best in the league. What happens then is you get the viewers memorising that comment and it sticks in their mind. You could say the same about Joe, he went through a rough patch a few years ago and he's now labelled dodgy due to media getting on his back, which is far from the truth.
 
I've just watched the best 10 saves of our season on the OS - two of Willy's at Wembley feature in the top 5.
 
De Gea is a great reflex keeper. That's it. Hart is, by far, the best all around shot stopper in the League and one of the best in the world. End of. And, I wouldn't trade him for any other keeper I have seen.
 
If Hart can cut out the odd silly moments in big games, that's all that's needed for him to become the great he's hopefully going to become.
Made so many important saves for us this season, and at the top level in CL, against the best strikers.
That he was up for the golden gloves again this season, after the defence we've had in front of him, demonstrates how good a keeper he is

I think he's very good but I think his abilities are exaggerated wildly.

It's not so much the fans exaggerating wildly, it's the twats they have in the TV studios that do.

There's not a lot between him Hart, Lloris, Cech at the moment if we're honest.

Most clubs have their fair share of fans who think the have the monopoly on the best players in the world, and that's simply a fan being a fan. I tend to agree that there isn't much between Joe, lloris & DeGea at the moment although I do think Cech is starting to wane a little now though (still a good keeper no doubt).

I still believe Nuer has set the bar which the PL keepers are still below
