Most clubs have their fair share of fans who think the have the monopoly on the best players in the world, and that's simply a fan being a fan. I tend to agree that there isn't much between Joe, lloris & DeGea at the moment although I do think Cech is starting to wane a little now though (still a good keeper no doubt).

I still believe Nuer has set the bar which the PL keepers are still below

Joe Heart
Never comes off his line for crosses
Never catches the ball
His distribution is the worst in league by far
Has been beaten from outside the box on numerous occasions over the last two seasons
Has had some fantastic games for us and saved us on several occasions but overall not good enough for a top team

Of course he, and every single keeper in the world has flaws (nature of the position)
How many golden gloves?
Who would you want between the City sticks then?

Your repeated use of the word 'never' means the rest of your post cannot be taken seriously.

Who do I want ,
A world class keeper
Someone who is :
A) comfortable catching the ball and can command his area
B) Can play out from the back and be last defender

I can't believe that managers from other teams haven't noticed that he always tries to find our tallest player when kicking out usually our right back.

Name him them, because you obviously believe he exists

No way, when he's going long he looks to find our most competent at winning aerial challenges, how dare he.

Joe Heart Incorrect spelling
Never comes off his line for crosses Incorrect, he does and sometimes catches well but has improved greatly with his punching which is now excellent
Never catches the ball Incorrect
His distribution is the worst in league by far No It isn't at all, our players hide too often when he runs to the edge of his box looking for an option there isn't one..he also has a fairly decent out-of-hands kick down the wings and can kick with both feet from a pass back
Has been beaten from outside the box on numerous occasions over the last two seasons Who hasn't? He makes mistakes, but so does every 'keeper, and he makes far fewer than most of our outfield players
Has had some fantastic games for us and saved us on several occasions but overall not good enough for a top team Completely incorrect!

I've added my responses to that in blue
And overall he is one of the very best shot stoppers in the world, which is the number one most important thing a 'keeper should be good at.

Of the problems we have Joe is the least of them. He is a fine goalkeeper. His defenders respect him. He has had calamity in front of him for 2 seasons now, we would have conceded far more if Joe wasn't in goal. Very brave, has good angles, has days where he'd stop owls flying in barn doors. His bad days aren't that bad.
He obviously loves the club.

Sorry for jumping on this thread without reading but what are your opinions of Hart?

I think I read somewhere that Pep maybe looking to replace him and he could possibly be heading to LFC to replace Mig.
