He played for Chelsea in the 80s so that could have something to do with his Jose love in.
And do the greatest managers of all time turn the winners of the league into dogshit in the space of 5 months?

Yeah I know he played for Chelsea but he left there long before Mourinho arrived (15 years I'm guessing?)

The way he was talking you would have thought he'd played under Mourinho his entire career.

I think you was correct in saying the bbc was providing him with something to say. You watch the transformation now in the media towards Jose. They will make him the returning messiah, these same journalists who slaughtered him when chelsea sacked him. Watch out for the comparison with pep...any guesses who will come out smelling of roses!!

Excellent piece on Mourinho in the printed Times today by Matthew Syed. It seems not all journos are going to fawn over him now. As a flavour, the final paragraph reads; "The United board are effectively trading the value of a short-term uplift in results on the risk of a man whose narcissistic tendencies shame football and could contaminate the club's reputation" - delicious !!

To be fair, even the Mail pointed out that Pep has wiped the floor with him so far.

That's behind a pay wall isn't it? Shame. Would have enjoyed reading that.

It's not too early to start the new campaign 'SAVE OUR SARDINE'!

interesting that the court case brought by Eva has not yet been finalised and it looks like she is determined to have her day in court. I'm sure that there will be dirty washing aired in public, lets hope it proves embarrassing to Maureen and his new employers

Reading that United tried to put a clause in about that **** Jose's behavior but he didn't agree and they signed him anyway. Reeks of desperation.

Don't be silly.

Not now that he's part of our beloved National Institution that is the rags.

One huge winner in this rag saga is Mendes. Every over priced Portuguese league player represented by Mendes will find a home at the swamp. £300m to be spent on the best of Benfica, Sporting and Porto.
