MLB 2016

Tigers fan here, another long season ahead i think with the usual bull pen problems.
For me our biggest problem going into the season wasn't the pen, it wasn't another bat in left, it was Ausmus.

Wasting some prime and final years of our best players with a man who couldn't run a bath.

I too am a Mets fan and I'm feeling pretty confident. If they can somehow get Matt Harvey to stop sucking, then the rotation looks genuinely terrifying. I can't think of too many rotations in recent history with the sheer talent of DeGrom, Syndergaard and Matz, with Harvey and Babe Colon filling out the rotation. The batting lineup looks decent but a little thin, if any of the main men hit a slump then it's going to be tough going, the lesser lights aren't going to help much.

My decision to load my fantasy team full of as many asian players as possible isn't paying off as well as I'd hoped. It's almost as if racial discrimination isn't the ideal way of choosing a fantasy team?

The real winner of that Punch was Joey B and Canada, he took the guys best shot it caught him undefended and on the chin and he kept standing. The best has been given, it has been taken - now the Jays will rise to take revenge against Cheating Amish Baseball fans

When you think that Miggy isn't putting up the kind of numbers he can do, and thought upton would be much more productive then there is definitely big room for improvement. I don't know enough about Ausmus style to know the real problems, but he certainly doesn't seem popular.

I'm a Giants fan. We're currently doing really well, a 9 game winning streak. Poor pitching has cost us earlier in the season, but Peavy and Cain are starting to look more solid.

8 game ban as well for that punch.

The Gs win streak is 8 games now after last night -- first undefeated 7 game roadie since 1913! In San Diego, 26 of 27 innings pitched by three starters. The acquisitions of Cueto and The Shark appear to have really paid off. If Cain and Peavy can find and keep halfway decent form, we'll be tough. Have a friend who has bet the over on every game the two of them have started and has done pretty well until their last starts. Pretty solid through the line-up too -- every guy is a pretty disciplined batter, every guy has some pop, and defensively they are largely sound. Going to be at a number of games this summer -- nice to have a distraction with no City for a few months.

This even year thing is weird but I completely believe in it. They'll bring in a closer and maybe one more piece before the deadline and probably walk to another WS championship.

An always hopeful A's fan here.

The season looks as if it could be a struggle with the occasional bright spot. After a recent tapping by the Red Sox we've just been done by the Yankees. A long way to go though.

It looks like the Phillies are coming back to the pack but at least there will be something to enjoy at the ballpark.

Lost a series to Atlanta. Not good. You might still finish above Miami though. -)

I do like the chicken fwiw

Mets scraped through 3 wins against the Brewers who are also poor but we needed it. Bats are quiet. Too quiet...

Just hoping we can keep within sight of Washington and in the WC places, going to be watching from behind the sofa Tuesday with Harvey v Strasbourg. Another bad start and he can look forward to Las Vegas or Binghampton. Wheeler can't come back quick enough.

I reckon it's going to be close all season for the WC slots but I reckon the NL division winners are pretty much already set.

The Nats are some of the biggest underachievers out there, and when you figure in Dusty Baker's ability to burn out a pitching staff you have to believe that they're far from a lock.

Here's hoping... But being a fairly new follower of the game i didn't know that about Baker. I just think they look strong and play hard. We'll see. Harper's a twat though in the CR7 mould as far as I can see and I can see him throwing a hissy fit one night about all these BBs he's getting. But tbf he is good.

Any Red Sox fans in here? Doing well at the moment and Big Papi looks like he could hit for another 10 years!!
