I should ask my mum. Is anyone safe from Stones or Apache?
Did you hear his interview after the game???
No what did he say?
Never wants to play for an Iberian manager again after Martinez. Probably off to join Klopp. What's he said in after match interview?
Not sure. Not seen it myself. Did he give one?
No but I've shagged your mam alright cunty.
Pmsl
Shhhhhhh! Stop it. That's not the narrative we want here.Stones playing well defending with authority that half it was Smalling looking like a headless chicken and an own goal around the corner for him.
This part will quickly be forgotten. And we'd be back to hating him soon enough.I stand by the comment about his complete lack positional awareness, and desire to see us give Denayer a chance, but I was premature, he went on to have a good game.
That said, I'm sticking to my guns. The lad is overrated and isn't worth the gamble at the kind of money Everton would demand for him.
You're better off joining me on this side of the fence now, rather than performing a U-turn and doing it later once he joins PEG at the rags.
I'll get slagged for this, but I don't give a fuck.
Smalling is a much better centre half than Stones at the moment.
Thats something that can get worked on, tho.Comfortable on the ball last night, he's got a terrible habit though, one I dont like in a centre half, when he goes to close a shot or cross he turns his back. Can't see the ball and lack of bravery. Dunne or John Terry put their bodies on the line to get blocks in, I value this more in a centre half than being comfortable in possession. Probably antiquated thinking. Win the ball give it to midfielder or full back, job done
I disagree, bravery isn't something that can be coached. Instinct, some centre halves take a step forward, stones first instinct is a step back. It'll never leave him. He'd be fantastic for us when we have teams pinned back but in games where we don't have possession he'd be in big botherThats something that can get worked on, tho.
