Yeah there was definitely no need for him to get snarky and personal, hopefully that doesn't stop you from keeping on, keeping on. Lord knows this forum appreciates the insights you direct our way. Hopefully we are still in for Kroos and Pogba because I don't see things ending well if we only bring in Gundogan to patch up our midfield.

This is only my opinion but I think Pep could have "covered up" our weaknesses last season but we can/will only get better for the long term with younger, quicker, more hungry players in the squad....The current team is on the edge of a big turn around....Yaya, Fernando, Kolarov, Zab, Mangala, Sagna, Bony, Navas, are all players that we could/need to upgrade because of decline, age, talent, or not a system fit.........Yes, Pep might have made them look better than what they really are last season by putting in place a better system but you cant truely "fix" all these areas by system alone.....you need to upgrade the squad....Pep might have won us a few more games last season but this squad is getting old and slow and a different system alone, in my opinion, would not have won us the prem last year.....Pep's system can cover up one area of weakness but no manager is going to cover up a slow, old midfield, LB/RB's that cant run and CB's that are "mistakes ready to happen"......
