Besides the war debt there was the labour government and the unions, Margret came along and sorted that bunch of c*nts out ( I left school aged 15 and was a fully paid up branch attending union member for twenty years, an I`m telling you straight they were a bunch of self serving c*nts).

So lets look at where we are now shall we, a far faster growing economy than anywhere in the EU, not because of but in spite of the EU.
Over 90% of UK companies do no business with the EU but trade world wide on price and quality, unemployment is far higher and living standards far lower than the UK in your exalted EU.

So we've done better out of EU membership than many other Member States then! It is estimated that over half of our trade is with Europe.

Your figures about UK companies probably include corner shops who aren't particularly renowned for international trade!

I agree with Trade Unions being too powerful in the past but it's a long time since Maggie and we are the fifth biggest economy in the World!

Stood next to you i am bona fide genius.
Your next post is an excellent example of how cockwomble stupid you are.

Labour GAINED votes.
They had a greater positive swing of votes than the tories. 1.5% to 0.8%.
Labour accumulated more than twice the votes of ukip.
You are probably talking about seats, in a system that is monumentally idiotic.
Yes mate. I'm stupid. Shit education. Shit job. I bet you're fucking handsome and in shape as well. I wish I was clever and successful like you and then I could refer to Corbyn as "Jizzer" and laugh to myself whilst everyone else rightly thought I had the humour of a prepubescent.

Labour received less votes than the two parties offering a referendum. The poster I replied to thinks it's an entirely Tory thing that we are having a referendum which is a standard left wing ploy of not having the empathetic intelligence to understand any view other than their own despite every bit of evidence pointing to the fact that the "other" view is bloody popular.

But I'm not surprised that escapes you. I personally wouldn't employ you to clean the windows despite licking them being your favourite hobbie.

I can see where you're coming from and in the main, I agree with you.

The EU is inherently more left-wing than the UK and it's somewhat ironic therefore that anyone in the UK with socialist tendencies would think about favouring a Brexit vote, which if it came would almost certainly swing the UK more firmly to the right. You'll note it's the right wing of the Tory party in the main that favours Brexit. The more centralist Tory MP's are those who would have us remain in the EU.

It's the left-leaning, inwardly focused, bureaucracy and red-tape ridded nature of the EU that for me is the most difficult thing to stomach. But in the end, I am 100% convinced that a Brexit vote would be very bad for our economy (and my savings and pension) in the short to medium term, with no prospect on the horizon of things being better enough to make it worth it in the long term. In 10 or 20 years perhaps, but that's a very big chunk of your life to toss down the pan with higher unemployment, slower growth (probably recession) and crap returns on your investments.

And all for getting back our "Sovereignty"? Our ability to fuck things up for ourselves? It's just not worth it. All of the really big decisions (bar one) we make for ourselves anyway. It's only really immigration that really matters and about which we have no control. That is a big "only", I grant you. But at the end of the day (a) I am not sure we wouldn't still have pretty high net immigration anyway if we left and (b) I think there's also the possibility of Britain in consort with other like-minded states *in the EU*, persuading the majority that some sort of controls on movement of labour required. There's a groundswell of public opinion across Europe that's concerned about the uncontrolled movement and the problems it's causing. I don't think staying in, means we can never change these rules.

Sorry for the ramble ;-)

God rest that Angel for saving the UK. Imagine if the unions had carried on without being rightly horse whipped. The U.K. Would be in a worse state than Greece.

Tbf Whilst I am not normally a conspiricy theorist that has actually crossed my mind. I was told today that they do open postal votes when they come in and not on the day of the vote so you never know!

Whatever happens on the 23rd we must make sure the Government is transparent in the vote counting process. No funny business required!! Please sign the online petition calling for 3 separate independent organisations to count our EU referendum votes. They need 100,000 signatures to spark a debate in Parliament. This will take 2 mins of your time. In the search bar type: 'petition for 3 separate independent organisations to count the EU referendum votes'

You still make out that all trade would stop with Europe. It's an idiotic notion.

If we leave all UK expat pensioners in Europe will have their pensions frozen until individual deals can be made with each and every European country.

If we leave E111 cards will be worthless until such time as individual agreements can be made with each and every european countries.

That's my 2 cents with respect to the outers.
Serious question... Why will their British pensions be frozen? The pension gets paid into Barclays and they draw it from Santander. What's the issue?

Again seriously, everyone I know who travels abroad buys health insurance. The reason being everyone I know who had the misfortune to require menu so treatment abroad have always had to pay for it, E111 or no E111

Fair points but doesn't get to the heart of it for me. What I am more concerned about is getting a government in position that takes ANY immigration seriously and has some balls to do something about it. At the moment we are being invaded by lorry, train and now boats. The boats problem really needs attention as the Channel will soon become like the waters between Greece and Turkey. It has been known for some time that cross Channel traffic increases after dark and we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg hence the disparity in migrant numbers getting here legally. We've got three more years of a Tory government to put up with and the only way to oust that useless Theresa May along with Cameron and Osborne is for a political coup triggered by Brexit. I don't particularly like Gove but he'd be far more efficient than anybody we've got leading us.
After that Britain can sort itself out with Europe by negotiation. We have just got to get a grip on our borders. How can you do any long term planning not knowing the numbers you are dealing with coming and going? It's asylum politics. Look at how Germany and Austria are struggling to cope for that very reason. Kent County Council is struggling for that reason too.

You're 100% correct on both points.

And with the E111 you claim it back.

A great big fuck off wall is it?
