Was thinking same thing. Can you imagine the shit storm if it was City who are in for Vardy, you know ruining football, buying the league etc etc not to mention fcuking up England's years of planning.
This could be why Arsenal have put a bid in. Prove the star player is on drugs, get the rest of the team checked n banned. Wenger wins the league for the first time in 20 yearsInteresting one this Wenger has always been very outspoken about doping in football
Wants to sign a player most people think is using PEDs allegedly
If he was wonder would anything show up on his medical ,?
And would arsenal sayvif it did ?
Posted that yesterday. We'd get slated for cherry picking him from the Champions, and you know Sinclair and Rodwell would be mentioned. He'd be a greedy **** with no ambition or loyalty. Can you imagine the shit storm if it was City who are in for Vardy, you know ruining football, buying the league etc etc not to mention fcuking up England's years of planning.
I seem to remember that Arsenal players were also implicated by this "doctor". Along with Chelsea and Birmingham City. This could be why Arsenal have put a bid in. Prove the star player is on drugs, get the rest of the team checked n banned. Wenger wins the league for the first time in 20 years
More opportunities to drink in London than Leicester I would imagine, allegedly
If that wife of his has anything to say about it I've no doubt you are correct.apparently Arsenal have offered him 120k a week. I think I know where he will be playing next season.
Good point. An another example of different spin for different clubsCan you imagine the shit storm if it was City who are in for Vardy, you know ruining football, buying the league etc etc not to mention fcuking up England's years of planning.
TBF, he'd be mad to turn this opportunity down. He can't have been earning much til a couple of years ago and this is his last shot at landing a huge contract. Even if Leicester were to match the offer, I'd still be off to Arsenal if I was him.If that wife of his has anything to say about it I've no doubt you are correct.
I don't mind us ruining football. We're ruining it for fans of other clubs after spending three decades ruining it for our own supporters. Can you imagine the shit storm if it was City who are in for Vardy, you know ruining football, buying the league etc etc not to mention fcuking up England's years of planning.

he's going to the Euros. Would he be going if he was at Arsenal? Monetary returns outside of his club ,profile recognition etc. If he stays at LCFC, he will be the main man in a Championship defending season when they are top seeds in Champions league. Plenty of arguments to stay.I agree. It is a pay increase most can only dream about, then again I'd run makes through the town square for his £60K/week.
I suppose I should have been more clear. The way she comes across from newspaper stories, her past, and how she presents herself on social media makes me think there's no way she'll let him turn down this money and a move to London.
All true and very pragmatic, but footballers don't tend to think like that. Regardless of what we may think of Arsenal, they are the kind of team he'll have spent his whole life dreaming about playing for. And to me they're still a considerable step up from Leicester, irrespective of their positions last season. Not clear cut because Vardy will be 30 next season and his game is centred on his speed. He can't afford to waste 12 months in transition at Arsenal.
In a 2-3 year timespan, can he achieve more at Arsenal than at Leicester bearing in mind that everything works for him at Leicester? I think Leicester will have to evolve to succeed because you can't counter-attack teams which are set up to defend and many more teams will change the way they play against LCFC, but there will be much more change if he goes to Arsenal. It might not work, and at risk is his No.1 position, England etc. Arsenal are not Barcelona, or a team that wins trophies, not at the moment. So the contrasts are not stark. He would not be going from a mid-table team to title favourites, but from the Champions to a regular top 4 contender.
60-40 he stays
So a better place to go if you had a liking for alcohol!Oh no, mate. That isn't alleged. There truly are more places to get a drink in London than in Leicester.
Also he's pace based and nearly 30...but applying logic to Wenger dealings is mentalFor me Vardy to Arsenal seems a strange signing
Vardy's success has come mainly from his pace on counter attacking football.
Arsenal's game is very much possession based, with the opposition sat deep
Surely what Arsenal require is a clever six yard box poacher
