I think it's going to be alot harder for teams to nap Kante.Mahrez due to the new TV deal.
Agreed. Having said that, would Kante or Mahrez turn down the chance of playing for a historically 'bigger' club?
Football careers are short and they might think that they won't get such an opportunity again.
Also, how much of the new money would go into wage increases? I'd assume if Kante gets a bigger deal, then surely a few others would agitate for one.
A bigger tv deal also implies selling clubs will try to fleece English clubs so transfer prices should escalate.

Do we want West Ham to bear them today? Personally I do.

Everything's gone right for Leicester this season, and I don't take anything away from the fact that this has been the most incredible story and they've been incredible.

But...but.. but...they've had all the luck in the world on their side. They've played essentially the same side without injury, all season. They've had virtually no pressure or expectations on their shoulders. They've benefitted hugely from their main rivals playing woefully below the expected levels, and they've been able to concentrate solely and entirely on the Premier League whist their competitors had othe distractions. Now with 5 games left, we get to see what they are really made of.

Let's just assume for a moment that they lose to West Ham today and Vardy or Mahrez picks up an injury. This is not impossible - West Ham are a decent side, battling for 4th. They then play Swansea without a key player and the pressure is cranked right up, only 4 games left now and the title is in sight. Suppose they lose that too? Not likely, but losing two on the bounce is hardly unheard of and in my little thought-experiment they are playing without their talisman (talismen?)

Now they've lost two and they need to go to the swamp to face United, desperate for a CL spot. Could Leicester lose that game? Yes, and in fact I expect they will do,

Now there's two games left and they must win one of them. They've lost 3 on the spin and their world is falling apart. They know they have to pay Chelsea away on the last day and don't fancy having to rely on winning that game. So they MUST beat Everton. Pressure is intense. Can they do it?

I know this is all fantasy, and pretty unlikely, but it is not IMHO impossible, and it all starts with West Ham. Win today and it's as good as over I think. But lose, and maybe just maybe it could make things very interesting.

Meanwhile, City win all their remaining games to pip Spuds and Leicester on the last day of the season before adding the Champions league the following Saturday by beating Pep's Bayern Munich 5-4 in the last minute of extra time. Which was nice.

I was making no comment about who else might win it mate, although what you suggest would be rather nice :-) They do have Spurs and Arsenal to worry about I think.

Do not have an issue with Leicester winning the title , the best team always wins the league over 38 games , but their style of football reminds me of Wimbledon many years ago , no nonsense defence and boot it up to Vardy , we can criticise Leicester , but it is down to the poor quality and lack of desire of other Premiership teams , us included ,that has gifted Leicester the title. If a team like ours cannot overcome a long ball tactic ,and a couple of yard dogs for centre halves , then we do not deserve to win the league , well done Leicester and their supporters , enjoy your day in the sun.

My only thing about Leicester is ,every single poster on here had a pop at Liverpool for having champions t shirts made ,
Yet nearly every Leicester fan has a champions scarf going to look very very stupid if they don't win it IMO.
Usually if there was any more about the doping it would be out by now ,didn't realise loads of teams from the 1920s,1960s had all been accused and we have even had a doping fa cup final and league winners

I would happily take Kante as a starter for Real.
I think this is why Leicester won't fall off that badly next season. Outside of Mahrez and Kante, they don't really have players that are attractive to the traditional big clubs.
Big credit to Ranieri and coming top-10 next season would be a great performance from this squad
Not sure what you mean here? You would expect that they should be able to finish in top ten if they are crowned champions anything else would be a disappointment. However, the loss of the two players mentioned would imo have a devastating impact if suitable replacements could not be found.
