Is he? I've only got half an eye on it, still think his future is in a central midfield position, like Modric perhaps.

the only "question" in my mind in regards to his fit is that you really can't say where he played today for Spain. He wanders all over the pitch. Which has been so instrumental for us because he is so unpredictable and so gifted that I tend to want him on the ball any way he can. But Pep clearly doesn't want players to play like this (excepting maybe Muller? David just doesn't have his scoring knack though) so he will have to adjust. If he does adjust, though, Pep is going to have him playing in far more space than he's used to when he does get the ball which is incredibly exciting
