The best thing about Laporte is how much top level experience he's got.

4 seasons of football already, 109 la liga games at 22.

Compare that to Stones who's played 77 league games, or Bailly who's played 40.

And he's got experience against some of the best teams in the world with 20 odd games against Real and Barcelona.

He's also got Champions League experience and played LB as well in the early days.

He has spoken to pep and we were waiting until he got his medical clearance which was friday,we are led to believe it was just that holding it up

6 seasons. Its been reported for a week, maybe 2 weeks ! Uptill then it was about us waiting for his medical report. Are we sure its him stalling or us waiting on the medical report? Anyways Ric thinks its done and over.

He's been with them since he was 16 and Bilbao are seen as the pinnacle of the sporting world for a lot of basques so I wouldn't be surprised if he's a fan even if he was born and raised in France
