are we cactually interested in kroos?
are we cactually interested in kroos?
Apparently so, but I can't see him leaving Madrid.
Still think there's a game of chess being played. Personally I thought that Felix Kroos' quotes from the other day said everything that needed to be said. I don't think that Toni will stay at Madrid if Pogba goes there simply because I don't think he'll accept being paid less than Poggy.
Then again I read somewhere yesterday that Madrid are going cold on Poggy because of what Juve are asking for. If Real Madrid think you're overvaluing a player then you really have gone too far!
It's not a thought, Modric is a level above him. And for what it's worth I think we already have our deep lying Playmaker in Gundogan

You should compare Modric with Gündogan. Kroos is a very different kind of midfielder. More like Pirlo.
Seeing Kroos dropping deep in the German side to get nearly every build up starting is to me exactly what we need at City and why I understand if Pep wants him. He was again terrific vs Poland in the role that the manager wants him to play. But you won't see Kroos doing a lot of one on one battles. He's too clever and with his vision he out thinks opponents getting the ball and get the build up going. A very important member of the German team and he could be similar when playing for us. It's just that it'll be hard to get him.
They want to keep him I guess so are setting a price that's ridiculous. If I was a Juve fan I'd be very happy with that. The money that Juve are asking for Pogba is frankly absurd. With Kroos his performances at the Euros have gone up another gear, I'd love him but surely not even Madrid are stupid enough to sell him?
I'd like to know who is the 2nd best, 3rd best etc. We don't necessarily need the best in the world in every position. The whole is greater....I've got no doubt that Pep will want Kroos but it certainly will be hard to get him. I've said multiple times that I would love us to sign Kroos: is there a better passer of the ball on the European stage at this time?
Transfer odds are reflecting your views. Last week Pogba was 4/1 to stay at Juventus. Today he is 7/4 to stay. He's 2/1 to go to Real, very close.Pogba isn't going anywhere with those wages demands

Ask Belgium that :-)I'd like to know who is the 2nd best, 3rd best etc. We don't necessarily need the best in the world in every position. The whole is greater....
How does Kroos fit into a City team, with, let's say for argument, Aubameyang, Aguero, Sane/Sterling, Silva ?
The guy is the invisible man when not on the ball. Who drops out & why ?
I'd say that Kroos would fit in alongside Gundogan and another midfielder. All those you mentioned wouldn't necessarily be effected as they play higher up. Other than Silva who more than likely wouldn't play as advanced a role.
Even so, there's nothing to suggest Silva, Kroos and Gundogan wouldn't be able to play together other than two of those three lacking in terms of a defensive contribution.
Yaya and Fernando would more than likely be the two to get dropped for Kroos and Gundogan.
Still not convinced he'd be an ideal signing for us though.
