The European Union must change whether Britain votes to stay in or to leave the bloc in its referendum on Thursday, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Tuesday.

"Europe is not in good shape," Mr Schaeuble told an economics conference in Berlin.

The veteran German politician hoped Britain would vote to remain in the bloc, but said whatever the result of the referendum, "we won't be able to go on as we have done, otherwise people will say 'they haven't understood'."

"Britain is an important market for the German economy and a British exit would cause considerable damage," he added.

I think you'll find that many people are concerned about quality of life. The wealth, prosperity or GDP of a country does not necessarily ensure well-being.

1) No, it wouldn't. You can apply for a Visa which is easy. Just ask any American, Canadian, Australian, Chinese or Indian etc. student/migrant.

Far from it, they want to see us trade with the world outside of a shrinking, stagnant trading bloc that requires debt payments just to keep the thing alive. Leave.EU isn't the official campaign, nor are we voting for Leave.EU or Vote Leave. We're voting on a decision.

He's talking about how the European Union has commissioners who are unelected, just like the House of Lords. The difference being that the HoL has no real power or control, unlike the EC. The original quote applied to the House of Lords can also be applied here which was the initial purpose for posting the "Democracy" quote.

Are you against the leave decision or the leave campaign?

Because if we're criticising the campaigns, both of them, then i'd wholeheartedly agree, they've been SHOCKING at giving the public the relevant information to make an informed decision.
Thankfully I didn't need to lsiten to either; my own experience with the EU, knowledge of the system, the people involved, its aims and treatment of it's members and citizens influenced my vote.

Using campaign slogans from either side doesn't seem to wash with most voters these days. Everyone knows they both talk shite.

The Brexit monologue on Europe being an unelected power is not true. You have MEPs which you can vote in or out. You then have governments who put in place their candidates for the upper decision making, then that person, if they are from another party to the government will be replaced. That does not happen in the Hol who have fucked Dave off an number of times recently, thus showing they have power.

No one is going to argue that a campaign is wrong, there is two sides to decision making policy.
The leave decision is wrong to me, it might be right to you but when you see something on your campaign illustrating what is being pushed is what Remain are saying, you have to question the motives behind it.
The main people pushing leave are not people i would want anywhere near making decisions for me or my family.

So explain this one last thing why does leave have a leaflet telling you that the turks are joining along with a few other eastern European nation. Then show you a map of UK labelled Europe not labelled and Syria and Iraq labelled? This is a mass produced mainstream leaflet not from Farage that clearly screams out beware of the brown people!!

I would give more credit to the Brexiters arguments against the EEC/EC/EUs contribution to peace in Europe if they said our nuclear deterrent had kept the peace. That's a stronger argument than being brainwashed by Deutchland 83!

Like I said you are supporting a movement that is openly using racism and xenophobia to obtain votes and has all of the support from the far. Personally that doesn't sit comfortably with me and I could not support that.
