The next Prime Minister of Britain

I think that deep down, Conservative MPs know that either Crabb or Fox would be a liability at the next general election. May looks like she has a lot of support. If so, then it's a question of whether it's Gove or Leadsom goes on to face May. Difficult to call but I reckon May would beat Gove but Leadsom would beat May.

Possible but if Leadsom wins but doesn't command the support of the majority of MP's then you are just buying trouble further down the line. She has been in Parliament what 6 years tops? And the Tory faithful think she is going to lead them into the promised land? Either way they are heading for another bitter split on the faultline of Europe so have at it I guess.

Well at first I was worried that Boris, Trump and Putin wouldn't work but now I'm worrying about May, Hilary and that Merkel woman - no one really would get my vote - stony are you busy??? Lol

Surely the remain voters shouldn't be allowed any choice in who our next leader is
well that makes complete sense,
almost half the nation votes differently than you, but because they lost by less than 2% they have also lost any entitlement to join in democracy,

Q/ is that forever or just temporary? only asking as the leave voters seem to think they have carte blanche on making every decision from here on.

But these people are only interested in democracy if it puts them in the majority.

well using madchestercity's logic, I shouldn't have even got a vote in the referendum because I voted labour at the last general election,

fwiw, I'm against any re-run of the referendum, it stinks of sour grapes.
on the other hand, if a political party wants to stand on a manifesto of going back into Europe, that's fair enough.

Christ, that would be risky.

Unfortunately the "leader" the leave voters chose decided it's too big a fuck up for him to handle.
You could see it on boris' face that day "can't believe there actually were enough morons willing to believe my lies"
