Toni Kroos

If Real get Pogba, it increases the changes of City getting Kroos. Why is that ? Kroos has a release clause. I believe 63M. If City would pay that, Real has no saying.
 
I wonder if the Matuidi rumours to United are Raiola's consolation prize to the Rags. They get Matuidi, Real get Pogba and we get Kroos.

Apparently Mourinho doesn't want Rooney in midfield he wants him up top. Some rag comments I read yesterday is they want both pogba and matuidi.
 
I wonder if Pep deliberately stated that we wern`t in for Pogba and we had a deal in place with Real.Let us have Kroos and you can have a full go at Pogba.I don`t believe for one moment that Pogba is off to the Rags.A good PR exercise which they are very good at.
I now expect Mr Kroos to become a City player within the next two weeks.No I am not a ITK,(after being told that Kidd was off to the Rags) just a gut feeling.

You're not reading between Tolmies lines mate. It would appear that we are playing this game with Real. Rags are doing their best to fuck it up, but he's confident about Kroos, which naturally means Pogba to Real. Posturing, and gameplay. Par for the course eh

Oh I agree mate, Kroos pass stats must be 95% plus completion through a season. Hope we can get him here, him and Ilkay will boss possession for us in the engine room!

Kroos and KDB are really different players.

Obviously positionally they are different, Kroos plays deeper and can't play wide like KDB can, but also, Kroos is the guy who wants to be on the ball constantly, and he wins games through constant action, whereas KDB will quite often go quite long periods of the game without doing anything significant, but then come up with the one moment of absolute quality that creates a goal.


They should complement each other perfectly.

Definitely! I'm guessing him and Gundogan must know each other fairly well from the German national team? Be great to see that partnership at City.
