John Stones

How many times did you watch him play last season?
I watched many Napoli games and I might even agree with him, though for a lot of reasons, I'd still rather 'risk' Stones. Koulibaly was kind of shit before the last season, mind. But last year, he was great. Strong in every tackle or physical battle, but his distribution of the ball was great as ever. I'd say Mangala also has the brain and vision for a solid vertical pass, trouble is that mostly cannot execute them. Koulibaly can, or at least could last season. I think his high standard performances were one of highlights of the Serie A last season and I'm sure that even Napoli fans were amazed by his sudden progress. You cannot really compare it with Stones' hit and miss campaign, but as I said, I am still totally comfortable with us signing Stones, and actually prefer him.

Fuck the price tag and comparing him to other players at other teams.
Is he better then otemendi and mangala ??
The answer is yes and if you don't agree you really don't know football.
Stones will captain city and England for many a year

I got to give them credit for having the balls to ask for that. It's obvious they aren't getting enough oxygen to their brains.

Does it actually say that, £50M and Bony for Stones ?

Seems a good enough deal to take if it includes them picking up the difference in his wages rather than us. Bony is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay us and clubs are not exactly beating down our doors from what I can see.

Bony is just one in a series of players we paid spectacularly too much for and we aren't going to be able to recoup more than a fraction, especially when they will be on high salaries here. There are going to be a lot of bullet biting if we have to free up slots for new signings.

No mate it doesn't, I was just being a bit facetious :-)

Just says Koeman wants Bony as part of any possible deal, but the Everton board aren't keen, and only want a straight, £50 million, cash deal. Remember though it is the Mirror were talking about here, so odds on it's all complete b*llocks

So the Mirror is running a separate big splash that Koeman is already at odds with the board? Silly question really, that would only apply if it was us selling Stones.

We didn't pay too much for Bony by a long shot regardless of how it worked out for him here. If there's any truth in the rumour he'll do well at Everton if this swap is true.
