As long as it's not Lescott part 2 ( in both regards! ( although he was good in our 1st title winning season)) Everton kicked up a right royal stink over that.

Yes, Interesting to see just how many more of their self righteous, marde-arse media mates, on talkshite, will now have the b*llocks to resign on principle, like Colin Murray, rather than accept uncle Rupert's "30 pieces of silver" each week.
 
To be fair, the media's reaction to us potentially signing Stones has been nothing like their reaction to Sterling's move. By this point Raheem was public enemy #1 - and probably still is - whereas Stones is being largely represented as a promising youngster whose talent is being taken from a club on the up by a club who are already there (so to speak). I'd much rather the media attacked us over this rather than Stones himself.

No I don't, I f*cked 'em off years ago.
Got sick of paying around £55 quid a month, just to see us being continually slagged off, 24 hrs a day, by a load of, bitter, jealous, ex rags & scousers.

Particularly when I can go to the Etihad, and hear the bloke that I sit next to, do the same throughout the entire 90 minutes, for free.

We signed Rodwell since and Barry went on loan prior to moving fully over to Goodison. I'm sure relations between the clubs are fine. Even if Kenwright still won't pick up the phone when we call.
 
 
I love especially how he passes it into the midfield centre rather than choosing the obvious choice - playing it sideways to the running left wide player. Thus he opens more space for the winger and creates a far more dangerous attack.
 
Stones, Sane, Sterling, Iheanacho, Brahim, Zinchenko, Moreno, Garcia's, Angelino, Sancho etc. We have some future!

Take Garcias and Angelino out and I'm with you! Nice problem to have but all our best young prospects are attacking midfielders or inside forwards: sane, sterling, zinchenko, Moreno and sancho all like to play on the wing and cut inside. Diaz will be our star in the middle I reckon though. Still, I'd love us to recruit more promising defenders and central/defensive midfielders which is where I think we are lacking.
