I like Pogba and am a little disappointed that it appears we do not appear to be in for him, but therein lies the issue. Nobody actually seems to be interested in him other than the rags, even Juve seem to be pushing for a move for him. You have to wonder why there isn't a host of clubs fighting for him as was the case with Hazard.
The guy has talent which everyone can see but the price being quoted is totally stupid. Realistically if he was being priced at the 60 - 70 million mark i think several clubs would be competing for him. If it came down to us, rags, Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal then you can be your life he would not be Rag bound.

Fair play to them, they want him and know the only way to get him is to pay well over the odds, hardly a ringing endorsement for a world record fee.

If they get him good luck to them they are taking a gamble that may or may not work but one thing is for sure in order to get him they will have to touch their toes and get properly lubed up.

If he wants real Madrid he will be in Italy for a while if he doesn't go this summer aren't they under a transfer ban next summer ?

He's 22, why wouldn't he go United for 2-3 years and then move to Madrid at the start of his prime?

Because the fee it would cost by then would be astronomical and unrealistic...given UTD would have to pay £120 odd million right now, his contract release clause would probably be about £250m or something stupid. He knows its either madrid right now, or potentially end up stuck at UTD priced out of the market for good...

He'll stay at juve.

You should all give your fannies a wipe. Why would he turn down his first football love? He'll go to the Rags, stay there 15 years and then manage them. The new Giggs......

Will be a quality signing for them, the fee is irrelevant. They have the cash to spend so fair play to them. The pathetic thing about them is they cried to uefa when we were spending that on 5/6 players.

But of course it's one rule for them and another for us or everyone else, the media will justify the huge outlay in fee and wages and declare it a master stroke, but if it was us the words obscene, grotesque, disgusting and so on would be used, hope it all goes tits up on the rags and the peg does a runner around Christmas ..

I think it is embarrassing them buying back a player that left under a cloud. In the meanwhile they have their ass slapped with the fee. No doubt he is a good player but I am yet to see him game change.

This all day. UTD like City & Real would take Pogba in a heart beat but the fee is simply to big. The deal before his 5 year £250,000 net wages is a staggering €143m yes that's around £123m. Juventus will bag £80m Pogba £20m & Mino £23m now that's a fooking joke even UTD know it's way way to much for someone who left for big fat ZERO. There will be no profit in 3 years time not a chance but one thing for sure any deal around £40- £50m will be a snip as this will blow the transfer window way out of control, will be interesting what the press, players say about it. With wages your talking £175m

A lad who was made to look average, outshone by the maligned Aaron Ramsey.

Played for himself, over complicated everything and only came good at the expense of Kante which was ludicrous. How Evra started each game was beyond me fwiw.

Pogba should go to Real and play as no10. He will be a great player but England will expose his flaws imho and he won't get the ideal platform to showcase his talents.

Better off staying with Juventus but then would be funny if the scum had to pay 100mil and ends up being crap in England.

Sane, Stones, Gundogan and Nolito or Pogba?

Time will tell. Depends on your judgement of Sane and Stones potential. I don't think you can knock Utd's deal if they can afford it. Pogba would have been better in the Euros had he been played in a more advanced the role. The position he played in the final was ridiculous. Poor coach in my opinion. Gignac up front when you have Benzema. Bonkers. Evra? Bonkers

Sky sports are full of shit. Clicked the app. (UNITED MAKE POGBA BID) read it and it says SET to make a bid. Full of shit.
It's due though. Utd delegation off to meet Juve apparently. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't get done. Utd need him. Without him they have little chance of top 4 so they will pay whatever it takes.

Benzema was dropped due to his court case of blackmailing Velbuena, more to do with keeping the dressing room together. Giroud played as no9 so moot point tbf.

Evra yes bonkers, he is shot to shit. Maybe his leadership qualities get him a pass.

Payet and Griezmann were senastional hence no advanced Pogba but imo team should've been 4-2-2-2.

Giroud and Griezmann up front. Payet and Pogba behind moving around, both can cross very well and both can shoot at range. Would've been hard to mark and would've pulled oppositions shapes out of lines. Matuidi and Kante as a two is pure energy and is solid. 4-2-3-1 it reverts to with Griezmann on left, Payet right and Pogna as 10 switching as a three the way we did with Silva, Nasri and Yaya under Mancini.

Agree Deschamps is out of his level

Had forgotten about the background to Benzema. Thanks
