I think it also have to do with the fact that there are so many football matches and they are least bothered to go into depth unless its MNF where they atleast make a try, Is weather forecast always accurate or are there occasions where it can be misleading for a city like manchester? :)

Thats sort of my point, Neville scratches the surface on MNF and everyone thinks its brilliant, when it really isnt its a lot of stating the bleedin obvious, they could do an awful lot more and the reaction to Neville shows that a lot of football fans would actually welcome some in depth analysis, which educates the audience and more importantly is unbiased.

Never underestimate the ability of it to rain in Manchester.

I also think most of the football pundits going around analyse the game with biased approach, with their personal liking and disliking s for a player or club, whereas cricket analyst analyse the game neutrally without any biased approach as such, more like teachers of the game.

Overcast and the perfect condition for Englands seam and swing bowlers. Yet with a lead of over 500 we are still batting. Why are we making a bad decision even worse by continuing to bat?

Bizarre isn't it? Even if I accepted the "bowlers needed a rest" reason from yesterday, well they had a rest for most of the evening session and a good nights sleep since then so they should be raring to go from the off this morning.

I know its bollocks, but what they will have done is calculate there are about 190 overs left (they are making up a bit of time today) and at a fair lick they could score 600 should they stay in, so they want to take a bit of time out of the game as much as scoring runs, now they are batting to ensure that should Pakistan manage to survive they wont win. Fact is we all know that barring rain Pakistan arent going to survive let alone knock these off, nobody has got anywhere near 500 let alone 600 to win a test.
