Fair point. Sitting by a pool in Spain, eh? "It's a dirty job" etc etc
;-)

I have a mate who spent yesterday texting me that TMS from a hot tub/pool thingy in beautiful sunshine in France is the way to listen. So knowing there was a delay I sent him 'updates' as revenge, he wasnt getting away with that as it was fucking raining here ;-)

I'd like to say I'm sat by a pool in Spain listening to TMS but the reality is I'm sat on my sofa in Spain with a gassy baby stuck to my chest that really just needs to take a shit and leave me in peace to watch the cricket.

He started it by sending pics of the sky, pool and view, saying glad you arent here, oh and he is a ginger.

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible ****... me.
You should be happy for him.
;-)

Great film, by the way. So many cracking lines;
Policeman: "What's in the car?"
Turkish: "Seats and a steering wheel".
Brilliant.

Anyone play cricket here?

Not played since school but would love to get back into it. My football career is sadly over!

Played for the 4 years previous to this one before a new baby ruined everything. Should get back to it next year with a bit of luck.

It's the first time I've played in about 10 years, and the first time with only one hand. It's definitely different but I hold my own. Scored 69 in my last innings and will hopefully get better and better with the help of this excellent coach we have here.

Levante CC in Valencia if anyone fancies a tour.

Right then, lunch. All that talk of wine merchants has given me a taste for a nice crisp white rioja. And maybe some calmari with garlic and chilli.

Mind blown. That guy is an absolute legend and top bloke. Looks like he could still play now.

Totally. Utter genius, easily the best left armer I have ever seen and up there with Marshall as the greatest fast bowler of my watching lifetime. That backs up completely what I was saying yesterday about how good they are at explaining the game ;-)

Can you imagine being an opener and going out there facing Was and Waq? Or even in the middle order where you have those two reversing it and Mushy spinning it around corners.

These Masterclass features by SKY are incredible.

Btw the coach I mentioned in my previous post about playing cricket is from Barbados and was a personal friend of Malcolm Marshall and played with and against a lot of the West Indies greats of that era at different levels.
