Was it a sell out does anyone know ?
Only 54,000 seats available tonight and all were sold apparently. £10 for adults. £5 for kids.

I know it's only the early rounds of the Europa League but that's how you get people in a stadium.£10 for adults. £5 for kids.

I don't think they're going to be struggling for support with 52,000 season ticket holders and a waiting list of almost as many.
I think they've sold nearly 60,000 tickets for the Juventus game on Sunday. Adults £20. Kids £10.

Well done to West Ham Utd.
We should have a similar system at City - no season tickets - all seats available on a £10 per adult/£5 per child basis, with a lottery system in place, for who gets to go.
It would not hurt the club, most of the money comes from TV contracts and merchendise anyway. Any shortfall can be handled by oil revenues.
I have not been to a City game since five years ago - myself and my 2 boys needed £100 plus just to see a game back then! What is it like now?
Well done to West Ham - I hope they do well in the Premier League 2016-17, I'm CTID - trouble is - I don't think I will see City (with my kids) before I die!
P.S. - I'm working class.
what area do you live in
Or to the early rounds of the League or FA Cups?do you take your kids to watch games at the academy
I agree with the affordable ticket prices however as an example we are on the fa cup scheme and it it works out 1adult 2 kids that we save money by not going to the match's, this would also apply go some weird kick off times league gamesIt's the very first match there - so quite historic, and many will go for that reason alone.
Yes the ticket prices are a massive factor too, no denying it. But even with low ticket prices, there has to be motivation to go, so we'll just have to see how it works out for them on a miserable Monday night game when a 5 quid ticket also means it's not a lot to lose if you can't be bothered going and already have a ticket.
I wish them well though. Lower ticket prices (whatever the motivation) should be something all clubs aspire to.

A new stadium always brings them out of the woodwork. Look at our attendances for the first couple of years when we left Maine rd, and then look at how shit we were then.
Glad you enjoyed it mate ,even tho the lower tier is just a glorified gene Kelly stand,it still seem miles from the touch line.Morning all !
well, the wait was finally over and to be honest, im still buzzing - really enjoyed the whole experiance
took me 20 minutes to get home after the whistle! which is a world away from the traffic out of upton park
the view will never top Upton Park, as i was right on top of the pitch - but soon got used to it, and wasnt too bad - was most suprised how good the atmosphere was, very loud in there.
As for the game, comfortable 3-0 win, Kayoute was immense, Fegouhli looks impressive also.
good times to be a hammer and cant thank the owners enough
Up the Hammers

From that Hammerschat video above it looks like there was a big chunk of seating left empty at the back of the stand behind the goal, so I assume that will account for some of the extra 6,000.Glad you enjoyed it mate ,even tho the lower tier is just a glorified gene Kelly stand,it still seem miles from the touch line.
How does the gap seem and feel between the two tiers ?
Where are the extra 6000 seats going for Saturdays game ?are they pushing the seats nearer the pitch as I read it as only one side was finished last night
