I think this is a matter of when not if it will happen. Everton being stubborn is understandable, especially with their new ownership and investment. They may want a replacement secured before they move on Stones. Also if the Bony to Everton rumours are true then the two clubs and Bony's people are going to have to negotiate his dealings as well.

No, Sagna and KDB came back the same day. Mangala for some reason came back the day after. Mangala has been seen training and looks to be in tip top shape. His omission means he's out the door, esp. seeing KDB and Sagna make the trip with same amount of preparation. Same goes for Bony... Hopefully all this means Stones is imminent

thanks mate! With injury questions over Ota and Kompany and whether Mangala fits into Pep's long term plans......I really hoping we get this done mate! Think it showing why we should have got a CB wrapped up sooner in the transfer window....A Kolarov, Tosin CB pairing to start the season is scary!;)

I agree mate! Great summer transfer window, love the players we've signed so far but you have to atleast be alittle concerned we didnt sort this "clear need" out earlier in the window....this is why you should not plan your transfer window to Sept 1st...
