#MCFC Tweets: Head over to #mcfc @facebook now, we're live at Manchester Airport as the team gets ready to fly to…
Watched the live video and Bony was not on it but I didn't see a few others either.

I think this is imminent, Koeman knows he can't find a better striker than Bony for less than 15mil so why not take him and a nice big 30m? to spend on a replacement defender.

So what? For a player of Bony's ability to get £10m and £100k a week of the books we should be laughing at whoever buys him.
That's your opinion, and others it seems. Forgive me for having my own thoughts on the matter.

thanks mate....hopefully a Bony-Stones deal is getting closer!;)

I'd love to know where people got the idea that Bony is worth a lot of money from. He's scored 6 fucking goals for us. Even his record for Swansea isn't all that impressive really with 26 goals in 54 games. The ball bounces 10 feet off him every time he tries to control it, he has no movement in the box and in general he has just offered nothing for us. Yet despite all this people seem to think we should be getting £30+ fucking million for him? If Everton take him from us we should be on our hands and knees thanking them for getting £100k a week off our books for a striker who doesn't score goals.

Bossed Kompany though!

He's stuck in Liverpool. Car had gone when he came out of Goodison.

If we can get Stones for 35m + Bony, I would be ecstatic.

Bony is not a bad player, he's decent but he shouldn't be in our squad. Some players make the step up from a lower team and some don't. Bony missed a lot of great chances, too many for a striker IMO. He had malaria and other problems but for me the pressure was too much for him and he was just lazy at times. 100k off the wage bill would do us good. Bony leaving means more playing time for others. I think we'll do fine with Aguero and Kelechi as our main strikers. It looks like G. Jesus will be here in January. Pep is also flexible and if we really need to we can play Sane, Sterling, KDB or even Silva as false 9/striker. I would rather we spend money on another class midfielder.

Hopefully Pep will turn Stones into a world class ball playing CB. Haven't seen too much of Stones and when I have seen him I wasn't particularly impressed (Looks class on youtube though) but I'm no expert and the fact that Barcelona really wanted him means something. I trust Pep and if he wants Stones, I want Stones.

Lets get this done!

I'm not a Bony fan. Was plainly obvious when we went for him he wouldn't suit our style and was not needed. However 26 goals in 54 games for a team at Swanseas level is impressive and he was the top league goal scorer in that calendar year when we bought him if I'm not mistaken. plenty of the league will take a chance on him as the window draws closer for me. Not that old, done ok previously, all though not for us granted. Wages the big issue probably

"Forgive me for having an opinion"

No one was having a go at you fella.
He did start his reply with "so what?" In regards to my post, so although not having a go (which wouldn't bother me too much to start with) it was hardly a pleasant exchange.
