I fancy him to come good this season and play a lot of games. I think a fresh perspective from the medical side is just what the lad needed and he will benefit from it.

How does that correspond with him being ' finished', Doctor White?Pep basically said in his 1st interview if he's 100% fit he plays if he's not fit or constantly getting injured he's no use

Total games for City 298, fucking terrible these injury prone players, they never get off the sick bed and pull the shirt on.

In 2014/15 we played 51 games so he played around 65%
Last season we played 59 games so 37% of games.
Even ignoring last season, in the previous 3 seasons he's missing 1 game in 3. For a central defender (who's also the captain) I'd say that's injury prone.

To me that says we won't play him until he's 100%. Not 80% 90% like we did last season. He's had the whole summer off and had a proper rest hopefully he can get himself right and come back as strong as he was before.

He misses quite a few through suspension. And some of those would be domestic cup games where he might be rested? (Can't remember if that's actually true!)

Calling somebody injury prone implies they are hardly ever fit, I was just pointing out he is nearing his 300th appearances for our club.
Though it seems this summer a bit of loyalty to our players has been sadly lacking from a lot of fans, Hart, Zabs and Kompany to mention three of them, there has been some outrageous comments in their threads about them, 3 stonewall legends of any era not just modern times.

Eh? The club does not have to come out and tell me that he is injury prone and cannot be relied on anymore.

He's had an injury hit 18 months. There are countless examples of players recovering and performing to their high standards after similar times out injured.
Saying he couldn't be relied upon last season would be fair. Going forwards its just a guess.

To be honest (and sad to say this) but I don't think it much matters. I have zero confidence in him remaining fit whatever we do. We have to accept that Vincent cannot be relied upon as being our leading centre back. Whatever games we get out of him should be considered a bonus.

Well done you then, I would suggest not all of those games you have been quick to highlight he has missed due to injury, but is there any point arguing in favour of our captain and legend when even somebody like yourself has been quick enough to stick your fucking knife in.
Not sure why you are so keen to prove how injury prone he is, do you get pleasure from it or something ?
I must be fucking stupid in the head for trying to defend our players, bad enough fending off wankers at work without having to do it on a City site.
It kind of makes me sad to see how it is now, a break from here may be in order :(

I'd love see a fully fit Kompany playing every game for us and not every game he missed was an injury. But most of them were and let's remember that this club legend went off to play for his national team against club advice when he clearly wasn't fit to do so and by doing so missed another shitload of games for us. But he's already pissed off our two previous managers and he's now playing for one who won't think twice about fucking him off if his attitude & commitment isn't 100%. I think Pep's possibly already marked his cards unless he shows he's 100% fit and not prepared to compromise that.

I don't think he did try and say that - just said focus on city get fit. Seems very reasonable when you are getting paid 8 million a year.
