Just watched his CityTV interview. I really like him. Seems like a great guy, clearly very happy to sign, down-to-earth and will get along well with Sterling. The fee doesn't matter to me, we're getting a potential City and England Captain.
Probably lifted it when he got the staff's back turned.Welcome John. I like your windbreaker/rain jacket - available in City Store?

It was me :) looks like I don't have to slap my mate after all.Kudos to the ITK on the Stones thread yesterday who called the 24 number. Also to the one who said he was at the ground yesterday and Tolmie for his bit on Sunday :).
Can't believe the media totally missed this one !
Story was broken first by an amateur football club on Merseyside who tweeted that he was having a medical. Trueblue found it, but I don't think anyone believed it at the time.Kudos to the ITK on the Stones thread yesterday who called the 24 number. Yeah, I noticed that. Clearly signed yesterday so no problem with European eligibility. Came across really well. Think he will be a great addition to the dressing room. Not shy so won't be fazed by it."It's been a long day" was his first words lol, SSN haven't picked that one up yet
Oh and that. All that work from Trueblue and all that shit he got for posting random tweets from random accounts hahah.Story was broken first by an amateur football club on Merseyside who tweeted that he was having a medical. Trueblue found it, but I don't think anyone believed it at the time.
Try Twitter mate might be on there.Bloody OS has crashed and I`ve not seen the interview yet.
Mourhino was desperate to sign him last summer which makes it just a tad sweeter. This can't be stressed enough. Have faith in defenders like Stones and for every stupid mistake he makes giving the ball away trying to play it out, he'll help ensure we dominate possession and maintain pressure 99% of the time. Absolutely crucial to the way we're looking to play and can give us a huge advantage against pretty much anyone. Don't let the media lead you on this transfer like they try with all our other defenders not named Kompany. Mourinho wanted him, Barcelona wanted him, Pep wanted him. It's an unforgiving position especially in this country where we expect and demand a different type of defender.
Let's hope he doesn't wander all over the park and pull his hammy !Kompany will mentor him and help iron out his flaws. Great signing.
Or have they apologised?Have sky apologized yet?
