John Stones

I wonder if he will ever play for England again now he's joined city?

Big Sam has four key ideas or philosophies if you will. One is to not gamble with possession in your own half. I assume Stones will be not suitable as he'll want to play football.

Whoever is doing the audio description for the interview needs to listen to what he's saying. At times it doesn't make any sense.

Earlier they were pretty outraged that it appears they're selling in order to buy despite what they were allegedly promised. Understandable if so.
Glad their anger is being directed at their owners rather than the BS from their classy murkyside rivals gave Raheem.

Brilliant signing and, after watching the interview, a genuinely nice and thoughtful guy who is completely over the blue moon at the thought of working with Pep.

Can't wait to see him in the centre of defence with Kolarov ;)

And for all the doom and gloom supporters who think we will finish 6th this year, as Stones said Pep is a winner and it rubs off on everyone!

Probably the same with Sane & Sterling. Note we have capped it at twice so it doesn't get too expensive.

Your right mate.....think this deal is fair for both sides! As the guy from the Times is saying...The way the deal is structured we can say we didnt give them the 50mil they were asking but Everton also save face by saying the "potential" is there to get the 50mil...Great signing so not concerned by the cost!!;)

Clearly structured so City can say they didn't pay £50m and Everton can say they got the £50m package they wanted.

Tony Barrett added,
Paul Hirst @hirstclass
Initial fee for Stones: £47.5m Add ons: £1.25m each time City win CL during his time at the club (max twice) Total could therefore be £50m

Same as with Liverpool.

They claim to have got the exact money they asked for, with Sterling. But they got millions less.

So then, those poster's we had on here last night were spot on. Watching that interview, he look's like he was either dragged out of bed or dragged out of the pub to get this finalised. Welcome to Manchester Stones ;)

A young english defender with fantastic potential.
