Well after leaving out yaya as well as the rest I'm assuming we will be chasing a centre midfielder @tolmie's hairdoo @Ric ? No way silva really should be playing the role he was? Obviously gundogan and sane to come back in the next couple of weeks but we still seemed light in midfield?

Yeah maybe ste. Just can't help feeling a world class centre mid alongside gundogan and dinho would upgrade our midfield to the top table quality? In total fairness is Delph top class? Love his attitude and willing to work hard but world class?

Don't think we've completely given up on Kroos to be honest, similar to Bonucci. Doubt we'll get either personally, but until player or selling club rule it out completely there's a glimmer of hope. Alonso might be a more realistic target though.

Don't think we'll buy for the sake of it, but if any of the players Guardiola wants become available then I'm sure we'll go for it. Dependent on outgoings too, of course.

I just posted in the guadiola thread that the message seemed to be drop yaya - I want him sold - I want a new midfielder. Drop hart - i want a new goalkeeper, drop managala - I want a new defender.

If Sammy got really fit and showed desire to perform to the best of his ability then he could play for a pep team but sadly I don't think Sammy has that drive in him to do it day in day out on the training pitch and then on the field.
