i don't know if Joe has somehow refused or or spat his dummy out not. It appeared that way, but I don't know. But if he has, Is sorting it out 'in the dressing room', the way you would imagine Clough or Shankley or Revie or Ferguson or Mourinho or even Mancini would react to open disobedience from a player ?

Because if you do, I recon you are completely wrong. His feet wouldn't touch the floor. So why would Pep accept it ? If there has been any kind of incident, then Joe is fortunate to get a sub's job.

Don't give him that much credit. Let's not forget his Angelino comments last year, where he tweeted "Angelino doesn't look good enough to ever play for city". I lost all respect for cheeseman after that. It's clear he has the hump with the club for being frozen out and seeing the likes of City Watch and Bluemoon Podcast etc move in and make his punditry etc seem well out of date.

Cheeseman was one of the speakers at Pep's unveiling. He's basically the voice of Man City.

You honestly think he's stirring the pot over Hart when other media reports indicate the same?

Maybe things have changed recently, but I know he got zero access other than what the club was required to give the bbc while Pellers was there.

But with the pr farce that was Vicky Kloss gone, maybe things have changed.
 
Looks like Pep is getting rid of Yaya too, not even named in the squad for the Bucharest game. Not injured either.

Vicky is on sabbatical and hasn't "gone". And believe me, whatever you think of Vicky, it won't be better with her out of the picture for a few months.
 
If Pep doesn’t rate Hart or thinks he’s a bad apple then he’s got to be sold. Same goes for any other player. This group of players down tooled on both Mancini & Pellegrini, two managers who had completely different management techniques. That can’t be aloud to happen for a 3rd time.

Willie is a competent back up keeper.
He does everything to a reasonable standard.
His distribution is better than Joe's and he can catch a ball.
Had Joe been the excellent 'traditional' keeper you seem to think he is, I think Pep would have prepared to cut him a bit more slack regarding his distribution.
However IMO I don't think Pep rates his 'traditional' goalkeeping skills as highly as some on here do and so isn't prepared to make the effort in working to improve that part of his game.
 
I've been a fan of Hart's ever since he's been here. He's certainly won us more points that he has lost us. It does appear that he's not Pep's choice of keeper so it would be great if he could get a move as quickly as possible. Might be just what he needs in his own personal development. Still think he's the best English keeper and hope he manages to prove it in future. He'll get a great reception from the fans when he returns with another club.

Thats the nail on the head mate, no coincidence either that Yaya and Nasri find themselves marginalised.
 
One wonders whether Joe thinks he is getting a fair chance to prove himself. From the outside it looks like Pep has already made his mind up about Joe's ability and whether he has the capacity to change to Pep's style.
Given Joe's service to the club he does deserve to be treated respectfully - what should not be allowed (if another keeper is being brought in and Joe being shipped out) is for the whole issue to turn toxic.
 
Pep had the exact same issues with Ronaldinho, Yaya and Ibrahimovic at Barcelona after a time with a weak manager in Rijkaard. He wanted to build his team around Messi and none of them liked it and in Yaya's case he saw Busquets as the more natural player in his system. Putting a relatively unknown Messi into false 9 and removing a striker in Ibrahimovic was a big call. He didn't freeze them out though but told them that to play they would have to compete but they all felt they should be first starters.

I think Joe basically found out he wasn't going to be playing, kicked off and Pep has just made an example out of him. It wasn't a point of having the best goalkeeper playing but one who is only willing to do what he says.

I don't think it's a case of Hart being a bad keeper, Pep has obviously told him he won't start if he doesn't take on what he wants him to do and that clearly hasn't gone down well.
 
Most people on here believe, like many experts, that Pep is tactically one of the best around.
Having played Bayern twice it's possible that he identified Hart's kicking as our weakness.
So on his arrival it looks as though Joe has failed to to convince him. In my opinion he didn't help himself in the friendly with Arsenal, when he went long with the first few kicks.
I love Joe Hart. He's an excellent keeper and has been the backbone of our rise.
However this is Guardiola at his most ruthless.
Apparently he realised, very quickly, that he wasn't the man in charge at Bayern when they told him they were selling Kroos rather than giving him a pay rise.
The fact Hart is a fan favourite as well as a being popular with the hierarchy, is irrelevant to a top manager.
As we know Guardiola gave in to his Bayern team in the champs league semi final against Real, when they lost 4-0. I don't think the manager will want history to repeat itself.
He has to believe the team on the pitch are his players, playing to his system, otherwise he's cheating himself and his employer.
I know very little about Bravo, but I wonder if the management team believe that Gunn has the potential to be the long term answer.
