Ha!He'd have been perfect for Conte.....

Torino and City fans have a lot of good history and respect. Nice to see our legend go there, will strengthen bonds further.
So we are paying him 90k/a week to play in Italy. Txiki the genius.
Legally, I'm sure it's 100% rock solid. But, to me, it's taking the piss. We're letting another club have one of our players on loan, and we're paying nearly two thirds of his wages while he's out there? It's not Joe I've got the problem with (if that's the salary that's in his contract, so be it). It's the fact that another club is benefitting from him playing for them, and we're paying for the privilege. If they want his expertise without actually buying him, is it too much to expect that they pay his wages while he's turning out FOR THEM?He has a 3 year contract still and just wanted a loan so we had to cough up,fair enough
The problem is his wages but he is being pushed out and is right not to lower his wages,we want him gone he only wants a years loan so we have to cough up,serves us right for forcing him out,i have no sympathy with the club i'm afraidLegally, I'm sure it's 100% rock solid. Seems fair City want him gone why should Joe lower his wage?
Google Torino FC Superga and you will find a very interesting history.Torino always seem to have pretty decent kits, other than that I don't know much about the club.
£140k a week and they will pay 50k of itNot sure where all these figures come from , apparently Joe earns £150k a week and we are paying £90k of his wages to play for Torino , the positives are we will save £60k a week , and he just might develop his passing game playing in Italy , come back next season and challenge Bravo for the goalkeepers jersey . We all know the media love to make mugs out of us ,but just maybe this could turn out well for the club and the player.
He's not on close to that.My problem is that we keep overpaying our players. Hart is not a 140k/a week goalie. Our wage structure is a joke.
I'm gonna take a guess and say 50k a week for a keeper in Serie A is quite high, people need to understand wages here are crazy compared to most of Europe. Still no loan fee either makes it seem like a good deal for them, I'm surprised no better offers came in but the rumors that he was told to look for another club happened very late in the window.

City have the third highest wages in the league, not first or second. But we don't sell our best players. If we did, wages wouldn't be an issue, the problem city have is that there is little difference in basic wage between out too guys and our squad players wher as United pay Zlatan 300k per week and the likes of Shaw less than a third of that.
Read my post again. I said I had no problem re. Joe's wages. I simply have major misgivings about Torino benefitting from Joe's expertise on the cheap. They won't/can't buy him, yet they also won't pay all his wages while he's playing for them. Sorry but, for me, that's not on.The problem is his wages but he is being pushed out and is right not to lower his wages,we want him gone he only wants a years loan so we have to cough up,serves us right for forcing him out,i have no sympathy with the club i'm afraid
I could be wrong. But i remember reading that some of our staff is paid by CFG? In a way to circumvent FFP rules. That way our wage expenditure is smaller.

I bet that factored in....we have the highest wages.
They know we are in a bind and want him gone so they have taken advantage, eez footballRead my post again. I said I had no problem re. Joe's wages. my thoughts exactly.I couldn't give a flying @@@@ if we had the worlds highest wage structure I don't pay it and neither do u. It's the owners choice let him deal with it.
