Second to Richard Wright I assume? ;)Have we as City fans overrated Hart? until last season I thought he was the second best goalkeeper in planet Earth.
I thought far bigger clubs than Torino and Sunderland would come in for Charles.

I don't think we overrated him, I think he's won us countless points - far more than his mistakes have cost us - and his performances in the CL have been nothing short of consistently exceptional.
I think he is an elite 'keeper, although he does have that glaring weakness that everybody knows about!
Yeah, it's kind of amazing how "little" top footballers make in general when you compare them to American sports contracts which continue to increase significantly.Bloody hell, as little as the that?... thats pocket money when you consider what NFL players earn
Hard to tell what your problem is but it's bit ironic to suggest someone else posses immaturity when you post a pile of worthless shite like that... thankyou for you "input" though pal, good to have you in the discussion with your well thought out points. ;)It's hard to say whether you're 9 years old or a he'll yeah American from that post. If you happen to be the former then please accept my apology for confusing you with the latter.
Improve himself how exactly? They don't have coach that plays the Pep way do they? I suppose the season is almost over there I wasn't quite sure when it finished to be honest.I am pretty sure the whole reason he is going to Serie A is to improve himself... Has a good chance of doing that there than the MLS
Hart is in that top 10-20 range. Nowhere near Manu Neuer or Gigi Buffon. It gets a little murky after that depending on who you ask, but I think DDG is comfortably third best. Courtois and Cech probably round out the top 5. Then you've just got a bunch of guys who are all very close to one another -- needless to say, Hart has never been near #2 in the world but he's one of the best. A lot of other teams probably saw him as an upgrade but the timing for the move was not good.Have we as City fans overrated Hart? until last season I thought he was the second best goalkeeper in planet Earth.

Ah fair enough is that $8.5m with us paying most of his wages? The structure of the league won't allow this. MLS teams have to pay the entire salary of a player on loan. With NYC having 3 designated players, there's no scenario they could take him anyway. MLS allows you to lower the salary cap hit of one player to bring them below the Designated Player barrier but that is being taken by Mix Diskerud (US National team player) and the player's salary needs to be around $1m at most whereas Joe's would be somewhere around $8.5m.
I was questioning the same after this debacle. I felt the same about Hart during the 11/12 season but there is no doubt he dropped off after that. I used to be took back by how well he could pick out an accurate long-range pass up-field, then when Pellers came in he started kicking it out of touch every time and certainly no where near no.2 in world football.Have we as City fans overrated Hart? until last season I thought he was the second best goalkeeper in planet Earth.

Nope. Seems like some people rate their perception and general knowledge of the game far too highly. Probably some sad sack sulking for the fun I had in the Sterling thread at last years armchair experts' expense. (His post not yours)Aren't you from hell yeah America?
His salary right now is around $8.5m annually. If NYC took him on loan, they'd need to pay the full amount because MLS requires teams to do this to avoid getting around the salary cap that is in place. NYC could do this if they had a Designated Player spot open, but they don't at the moment. There are a few other issues though related to the fact their transfer window is closed and as someone else mentioned, their season ends fairly soon (about 8 games left then the playoffs which NYC are currently slated to qualify for).Ah fair enough is that $8.5m with us paying most of his wages?
Ah ok seems like a no go either way, in theory NYC under Paddy seemed like a good match for Joe but it's not to be.His salary right now is around $8.5m annually.
