Yeah i doubt Pep is on his xmas card list hehe. That is interesting that they could push for a cl spot, if he helped with that then interesting stuff, he may decide he has a job to do for them.

lol @GaudinoMotors
Yeah, I think Juve is the only locked-in CL spot (and inevitable league winner) and Napoli should be up there, too, while the third slot... Who knows? AC Milan is dreadful as is Inter. Roma should be good but they collapse every year. Fiorentina and Sampdoria... possibly? They've not really impressed. There's no reason that Torino can't make a run and if Napoli and Roma slip, they can take advantage.

God, I'm going to have to start paying attention to Serie A again, aren't I?

1st link only mentions De gea once: comparing his 15 clean sheets to Cech's 16. You know who else kept 15 clean sheets, Joe:

The second one "
Here are the best six goalkeepers in the world, as decided by FFT and our trusty band of contributors from around the globe" Again, public opinon, repeating things till they're facts

Stats are from premier league only as United have struggled getting into the Champions league recently ;)

4 Golden gloves, praised by the worlds best players, countless top performances to singlehandedly keep city in games/champions leagues,
CS DG/JH
15/16: 15/15
14/15: 10/14

Games Played/Goals against DG/JH 2013-16
108/112 102/100

Wins/loses whilst in net
DG/JH
55/29 58/21

The figures are there and are you really going to argue that our disorganised, shambolic and injury ridden back 4 is any worse than Uniteds over the past few seasons? Don't be silly

You know why they an issue with using clean sheet stats yeah?

Remember when I said I'm yet to find a non city fan that thinks Hart is better than DDG.

Just furthers it.

The only thing this furthers is the already obvious evidence of the effect of the media on the mass public, but whatever mate, you're entitled to your opinion.

What the fuck are you talking about? "Issue with using clean sheets stats" What exactly is the purpose of having a keeper if not to keep clean sheets?

You've just made that up. I've never said he was shite. And I have wished him well, people seem to be upset I don't put him in the top ten bracket.

Miss him? He's a highly paid professional footballer, he's not dead and he's not an ex-Mrs you can't live without.
Fuck me. Grown up(I assume) people missing someone they've never met and who they only watch for 90mins each week, probably on the telly.

Good to luck to Joe in his new chaptor, If I were him I'd be working on the weaker points of my game to prove a point!!

Those really prove nothing. Clean sheets can depend on the strength of a defence. If a team only allows the opponents 3 shots and the keeper saves 2, is he a better keeper than the one playing behind a defence that allows 10 shots, of which he saves 9? The latter is probably the better keeper.

What about the stats showing a actual goalkeeping performance? Like shots-to-save ratios, percentage of shots saved from outside the area, performance on crosses, saves-per-goal, etc? On that last stat alone, Hart is mid-table. His one really strong stat is probably saves from shots inside the area.

Do you think that Everton would have had the same clean sheets we had, if Joe had played there?

Our defense under Mancini and for Pellegrini's first year until he dismantled it was excellent.

We were also the best club in the league over the last six years which helped (averaged over the six years, we scored most and conced the least etc)

How is his form for Birmingham City explained then? He was their POTY.

He might not be perfect. He might have some fundamental weakness in his ability to pass the ball out of defence, but to rubbish his general abilities as a goalkeeper is a strange outlook for a football fan, let alone a City fan.
