If anyone is in the market for a new tv the new Sony tvs have android built in so sideloading kodi is really easy(my dad has just bought one) and the picture quality is really stable, hardly any buffering. Much better than an Android box and just as good as a amazon fire 4K box

Guys - totally noddy here, just spent 3 weeks in Canada with family and they all watch IPTV - So thought I'll give something a go at home.

So far I have downloaded Kodi to my laptop as I want to play and learn.

Can somebody point me in the direction of what I can do to get started please? Will look at the Youtube

Not too sure mate but you could always download it on your laptop if need be and try it there :)

The best advice for tv's is buy a dumb screen and stick summat smart into it, not your penis for christ's sake :-D
The advice is good though, for example Sony 'smart tv's' can't do youtube anymore due to the encryption they use now. A firestick would not even notice.

The installation method for spmc is exactly the same as Kodi mate; as long as you know how to do that your golden, just use the spmc apk file instead of the Kodi apk file boss :)
