We all know he's past his best. Trying to play deeper now, but he is still their best player.

Not their best player and hasn't been for some while, Peg has royally pissed-off their best player, Martial, and he had the biggest slapped-arse face imaginable when he came on.

1st 40 minutes was the best I have ever seen us play. Ever.

In fact I'd say it's the probably the best I've seen any English team play since Arsenal's invincibles at their best. Maybe even better than that. Simply brilliant.

We're still too error prone and struggle to maintain it for the full 90 minutes, but when we finally get all this clicking into place, we are going to be absolutely unstoppable.

Watching the match I thought Rooney had a poor game, and was getting frustrated. Should have been booked long before he was. Just read these stats that show how poor he was yesterday.

Wayne Rooney’s performance against Man City raises yet more questions http://thepeoplesperson.com/2016/09...st-man-city-raises-yet-more-questions-159854/

He should have walked, but it was better with him on the field in my opinion. Look at him barking orders on others but not Ibrahimovic hahaha

No mate not blue tinted specs, not even a foul.Notice Otamendi being taken out from behind as he's about to score goes unmentioned.Anyone expect anything fuckin else.
Also, maybe it's just me, but did that scummy shit kick out at Otta when on the floor?

Fantastic fight from Otamendi Silva & Fernandinho. Brilliant from DeBruyne.

I think I have to vote Otto for motm as if he'd cracked we would have lost. Immense from him. The performance I have waited to see

Pity Bravo cracked up but he'll be ok.

Had Aguero played we would have scored 8 2nd half.

Good points.

When you reflect on it, the 6-1 was relatively competitive for much of the game. It was only 3-1 after about 85 minutes IIRC and we bagged the other 3 in the last 10 minutes.

I agree had Aguero been playing we would have done another 6-1 yesterday easily.

Mourinho blinked first changing a team with a 100% record for a home game because he was focused on stopping us. A leopard changing spots and all that. I'd been worried all week but when I saw their side I knew we had a great chance.

Then post match Pep fiercely defends Bravo after an unconvincing display whilst Peg throws his previously unbeaten players straight under the bus.

His inevitable exit has already begun. Who would you want to play for? A manager that abandons you after one defeat or one that you know will let you play with a freedom that tolerates any mistakes and will fight for you if you fight for him.

We are sooo fucking lucky.
They're absolutely fine. The bus was parked, remember?

That is NOT a manc accent.

It's somebody from maybe 10-20 miles from Manchester trying to speak with a manc accent.

It's the equivalent of a lad from Surrey trying to speak like an eastender.

He's a cartoon character.

I got chills when the camera cut to Otamendi getting the bandage wrapped around his head, reminded me of Zabaleta, and that refusal to let anything get in the way of helping the team win. The passion from all of them, especially Kolarov, at the final whistle was immense. I'd like to mention that we looked like conceding for five minutes in the second half and Fernando coming on made a huge difference, clearing two unmissable United chances and giving us composure- I think that'l be his role in the team this year. The way all of our defenders and the two Ferna's went through the wars in the last ten minutes made me love them all even more. This is proper City.
The ONLY two things we need to improve are turning the possession into the goals we deserved (which will come as players get used to playing Guardiola's style in the final third and of course Aguero was out), and the fact that we seem to go to shit for the first part of the second half. It was only brief today (cheers Fernando) but could've bitten us in the arse. Once that's sorted out though, and it won't take long, we'll be unstoppable. Eddie Howe better have a plan for next weekend, and it better be a very good one, or they'll be thrashed. Already we're the closest thing the PL has ever seen to Barcelona.

And provided Chelsea don't thrash Swansea in Wales later, we're still top of the league.

I thought it was a mistake from Utd not to select Pogba yesterday. Wasted on the bench.

ps. I've been away a while, can someome please explain why mourinho is being called 'Peg'?

Brilliant performance yesterday.
We totally dominated them in their own back garden for 75 mins at least.
I am worried at our inability to fully capitalise on our possession but hopefully that will come.
Showed real hunger and desire yesterday. That's probably the most important thing for me.

Portuguese Eye Gouger - a reference to his time in Spain.
Think it was an El Classico where he stuck his thumb in the eye of one of the assistants from Barca
