Pogba- the most expensive signing in the world - did that get mentioned yesterday?
Only saying it because it got mentioned maybe 20 or 30 times when they beat Southampton.
Juve have the rags pants down big time.

Why do people repy to this wierdo ?
Any rat rag 'fan' who spends his time trolling another teams forum ( not their closet rivals forum , that's Liverpool. whenever we beat them) needs to get a life , and give their odd shaped head a wobble

Aww, leave the our pet rag alone.

He's funny coming on here with his bitterness, though credit to him, he doesn't troll .

We dodged a massive bullet with Pogba. The biggest reason he wouldn't fit is because he is not a hard worker, players working hard is not something Pep wants, its something he demands. This is the reason Yaya doesn't even make the bench, he simply gives too little defensively.

The rags are a joke, they pay a world record fee and then play him out of position haha Pogba has potential but needs to play in at least a midfield 3 with less defensive responsibilities. His time with the rags will probably stunt his growth.

Shrek is also holding them back, he's been under-performing for a few seasons now. Its wonderful to see him start every game, I'm convinced he has a clause that states he must start a certain number of games each season. He has a contract until 2019 and can only continue to decline! There's no chance he leaves before then, he's on crazy wages that nobody in their right mind would match. He's 33 (almost 34) at the end of his contract, maybe he retires and moves into a coaching role for them or if we're really lucky they give him an extension for lower wages, either way its a win-win.

Not making the top 4 will set them back even further. Before the season started I honestly believed that they would struggle to make the top 4 while others were claiming they are title contenders haha. I know its the beginning of the season but as time goes on the chances of them missing out are getting better and better. IMO Chelsea and City are a lock for the top 4. Chelsea has strengthened in the right areas, are playing well and have one of the best managers in the league, they also don't have European football which is a big advantage. IMO We will win the league. The other two spots will be contended by Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, and the rags. Liverpool are currently playing well, they have a good squad with some quality attacking players, they also have no European football to worry about; if they are consistent they will make top 4.

Out of Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, and the rags. The competition for the other two top 4 spots least favors the rags. Not only do they have an average first 11, the squad is average as well and those glorious Thursday nights will be a burden. I must admit I like Rashford but Kelechi is certainly better. Ibra is good but is over hyped as well, wasn't a threat at all yesterday (his goal was due to our mistake), he'll score against the lower table teams but will be neutralized against the top teams. Their defense is fragile and on a good day we would have scored at least 4 in the derby.

Jose is finished as a top manager, his time at Real has caused him psychological trauma. haha He went from being a manager who always defended his players to now openly criticizing them. Jose is hard headed and refuses to adapt his tactics. I'm surprised many think he will last more than one season. He has spent roughly £165 mil (£30 mil on Bailly, £25 on Micky, £110 on Pogba) and will be fired when they don't make top 4. I'm expecting him to last to season end at most. Its only September and he has already banished a world cup winner to the reserves, sent a number of youngsters with potential out on loan, frozen out Darmian, and blamed his players for the derby loss. The united way is alive and well. The dressing room will eventually crumble its inevitable IMO

The players will turn against him, its going to be a joy to watch.

I have believed from the day they signed Maureen, he will last just a season before he has a meltdown if things don't go right for him .... I may revise that to Christmas ...

I hope it's before Christmas and the family man makes a triumphant return before getting sacked at the end of the season.

Needs to change the system, Pogba and Fellani in midfield. Two liabilities that got swamped by Silva Fernandinho and De Bruyne, any manager facing them in the next few weeks needs to press them as they are not a very mobile side.

That's not even taking into account the other liability Rooney, 4 more touches than Bravo yesterday says it all.

Are they still crying on about the bravo what if penalty red card as a big reason for their loss?
It's all I've heard from them since the result yesterday, they have been so used to getting decisions over the years that when one goes against them(rightly so)they can't take it. Fellaini's elbow on Kolarov-red card.
Rooney persistent fouling-should have been off long before incident with Bravo.
Bailly kick out at Otamendi-red card and penalty.
Oh and Fellaini spitting twice at Nolito.
All brushed under the carpet.

Is it just me who possibly see's the rags main two signings pogba and big nose more as commercial/cosmetic signings rather than proper football signings to fit in with a team, more to do with high profile publicity money making like shirt sales and other merchandise and other revenue's.And keeping them relevant in media terms the brand comes first..

United fan here. I would be the first to admit that you outclassed us yesterday. Mourinho got his team selection and tactics wrong. In the 2nd half we looked better and pressed really high up the park, and that caused you to maker errors and give the ball away. We should of done that in the 1st half. Pep has really brought well in the market, and has got players what match his style of play perfectly. Good luck for the rest of the season. Until we meet at the Etihad in the return fixture. See you.

I have to be honest. For the first 40ish minute's, it was like watching Pep's old Barcelona team. Our plan from the start was to try and contain you and hit you on the break. That went out the window, and it was a uphill battle from there.

You watched the 1st half your team pressed high up you just couldn't live with our one touch passing. Second half Pep changed tactics and your lot change tactics to push everyone up top and play Like Wimbledon! How embarrassing for a team thats worth 350m Moaninho be in full melt down soon and I cant wait he is a kunt.

i think they will simply be able to bully quite a lot of teams to get points....

however they are going to be in a real fight to get top 4 if they continue to play the way they have as liverpool, arsenal, us and spurs and chelski are all better teams than them at present.....

lets hope they come unstuck as with some of the players they have on some of the wages they are on could mean they have real trouble shifting a few if they need to bring in (even) more players....

the one thing they of have are all the commercial deals and unfortunately that will probably help keep the money coming for new players and even though they might not win anything the majority of their fan base (SE ASIA) will probably keep watching and buy their merchandise as they get sucked into the utd PR machine along with their best supporter Sky Sports.

Deals schmeals - as long as Edwoodwoodwood and Maureen keep spunking the likes of £100m on the likes of Pogba they will need to spend billions just to stand still never mind improve. I expect the return of Ronaldo rumours to start soon.

It's all very well saying stuff like that, but it just gets my dander up.

One small indisgression on redcafe and I have been banned for all eternity*, yet we seem to be much more lenient with Utd. fans who come on here.

I propose an amnesty: lets un-ban any rags who have over-stepped the line here and give them another chance to be civil, IF they show some flexibility on their website to me and people like me.

*There seems to be some sort of tracker that spots your i.p. address and kicks you out even if you try and re-register under a new name/new e-mail.
