Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

I have never spent much time on rag cafe but have enjoyed reading their post match thread.

Some gems

"Thank you yet again Mark Clattenburg for this result. Robbed."

"with bravo as their number 1, we'll finish above them."

and lots more!

What is really funny is that many posters seem pleased with their performance because they showed "fight" in the second half and it is an improvement on recent seasons.

I had not realised how far they have fallen. Not at all worried about them this season. Just hope that other teams can keep them out of the top 4. Liverpool and Spurs look like they will do well as do we and Chelsea. Could Maureen's ego survive another season with Champions League?

Thread cleaned up.The rag has gone.

Back to 'normality' please
Pity, I wanted to ask him why I'm a glory hunting **** but not the majority of the 70,000 social misfits at the swamp yesterday who attach themselves to a team not in their locality, they have no family connection to, but they follow because they have nothing else in their lives associated with winning so they attach themselves to a media generated myth.

Back to normality it is.

It's a xxxxing muffin.

Just re the Bravo Rooney smokescreen... wasn't it a 50:50 challenge that Bravo won? If he'd lost it then he would have been taken out with Rooney's follow through and we'd be calling for Rooney's head, but as he won it he's made out to be the bad guy.

Sometimes i just don't get football

With ya 100%! He went in with his foot sideways, so that he caught it with his instep. Had he gone in flat foot (studs up) and straight-legged, we could have no qualms if it was a penalty and 10 men.....but he didn't! It was a good tackle! Rooney rolled around with a broken leg for a minute, until he realized he was getting nothing, then he got up and gave Clattenberg an earful of foul and abusive, then was sprinting for a ball 20 seconds later! Compare that to Bailly doing Nico's standing foot on the 1 yard line, with straight studs down the Achilles, and they are night and day different challenges. One is a career ended, the other is a 50/50! I honestly think Rooney was just embarrassed he did not win the ball, so he tried to get a pen (which he might wel, have taken...broken leg and all!) and a man sent off.

He really is a despicable little scouser, who will do almost anything. He screams for handball when it clear didn't hit an arm, let alone and arm that is reaching for the ball, he abuses every single referee while hiding behind the Captain's armband, and he is rapidly losing both his new hair and his old game. Poor fella, you've got to feel for him don't you? Hahahahaha!!!
