Caballero is a no-brainer, maybe with Gunn on the bench.

I think Zabaleta at RB would be the smart bet with Sagna playing on Satuday. Kolarov's had less time off than any other player this season so I can see him rested tomorrow, we'll need him for the league, but Clichy played recently- if not him, then Angelino could start at LB. In the middle I think we'll see Kompany (if he's fit) with Stones/Otamendi getting a half each again. Unless Adarabioyo has improved significantly since the friendlies I'd rather not start him against a PL side just yet.

Ahead of them I'd love a midfield three of Fernando, Delph and García, with the latter two being given freedom to go forward and the former being told to stay back and protect the back four- I think he's earned a start after the part he played in our win against United. However, it looks like the first two might be injured still, so I think we'll see Fernandinho and Silva, who needs minutes back into his legs. Gundogan will possibly come on at some point.

On the wings I think we'll see Navas and Sané. Nolito is banned and Sterling could do with a rest (I assume) but both of these could do with game time. And surely we can't not start Iheanacho? He's only one off of Ibrahimovic on gaols this season after all ;)

Rest you say how old is he?

Correct. He can either miss tomorrow's game or the one at the weekend.
I'm pretty certain he'll play Saturday.

he's banned tomorrow, doesn't get a choice between which one he misses if that's what you meant.

BANNED TOMORROW, AVAILABLE SATURDAY

The third round tie on Wednesday evening will count towards the suspension handed to Aguero following retrospective action for elbowing West Ham’s Winston Reid.

The Argentinean striker will therefore be available for Man City’s second trip to Swansea in the space of four days when they play the Welsh outfit in the Premier League on Saturday.

How can people not know what games he is suspended? Madness that someone thought we could pick and choose if its the cup game or league game he would miss.

He will miss Wednesday then play Saturday.

Pep obviously disagrees as he felt the need to rest Stones and Otamendi on the weekend because they had "played many minutes"
My mistake then but i was convinced Otamendi had a great game.he did not seem knackered to me
