Also note his physique which hasn't been mentioned, his legs look like they've been getting some work in the gym!!
 
Awesome,its amazing what the right words in your ear can do for confidence.

His physique has improved,he doesnt look as fragile anymore - in 12 months he'll be the complete package.

Outstanding, possibly his best performance of the season and that's saying something. Deserved a couple of assists for those viscous crosses.
 
Wish people would stop banging on about him having a transformation. This is the 19 year old that took the league by storm with Liverpool and nearly won them the title with Suarez. Obviously he's evolved his game a bit and become a more well-rounded attacker but talking like he was shit is a big discredit to the lad.
 
He was garbage from November onwards last season, that's the transformation

Tonight, I'd argue he's never played better

He's strong for his size. Clever player too and, as you say, the belief is blooming and his ability is shining brighter and brighter.

When he was at the Dippers they reckon he was one of the hardest to get the ball off in training, he had good strength for a slight lad yet last season you could blow him over. He seems to be getting that strength back and like you say the work on his legs seem to be paying dividends.
 
Best player on pitch today for me. Only city player that started that can come away from tonight with any credit. Full of confidence and scored a good goal. Was also impressed with his crossing tonight.
