The poster that came out with that gem wont be replying or making similar again tonight so id rather we dont give him the attention he so desperately craved by repeating it mate. Cheers ;-)
Ooh mods flexing their muscles.
I don't think English is the first language of the poster that came out with the "overplayed" erm, gem, as you call it. At least I hope it isn't, but I get the feeling that anything veering from the party line is bringing out tags of "rag" or "sniff, sniff". Interestingly several (both non-approved comments and "rag" retorts") came within a few minutes of the final whistle. Some people must get a far better post match signal that I do. Or perhaps they need to look at the untied thread for more accurate comments about those who don't attend home games.
As for today, well we were better in all departments bar one; unfortunately that's department points are awarded for.
Play like that against many teams and there's no doubt we'll win, but I think much of the negativity comes from failing to beat a pub team in Glasgow when once again we were told "play like that and we'll win most times". Around 90% of penalties are scored so it's a bit worrying that we're missing so many, but we've scored a few as well and we're still top of the league.
We always knew we wouldn't know much after eight league games, but it's easy to get carried away after winning the first six even though we didn't play anybody of note.

I'll be ringing City on Monday,2 scousers sat in front of us today, mid forties, they were relatively calm when they scored, but not the point,12 years ago if it was in kippax, the 2 would have been thrown out, along with a slap as well, but I suppose we live in a slightly different era these days,City will sell tickets to anybody though and it ain't on

My son, who sits next to me, couldn't go so I sold his ticket on the ticket exchange. The bloke who bought it was an Everton fan and went pretty mental when they scored and chunnered all the time he was there, nobody around seemed to bother but then again as we were on the back row of the second tier nobody really spotted him. Personally, I don't think he should have been there but it didn't bother me and nor should it really, but I would much prefer a Blue sat next to me as it makes the situation a touch uncomfortable when a fan of the opposition is sat next to you. I chatted to him and asked how he got his ticket to which he replied that he just went on City's website and bought it. This surprised me as I thought you needed to be a Cityzen member to buy tickets, apparently not as he didn't know what I was talking about. Looks like City will sell tickets to anyone, no questions asked.

That is my point, they sell to anyone,it was too late when they put that bullshit on OS about people who live in L or CH postcodes evidently

Yes, this lad lived in a WA postcode so I don't really know if there is any way to stop it, or maybe we should just make an effort to get used to and embrace/tolerate it.

Are you being serious or is this what's known as a Clarkie

Yeah, not sure i like the tone. U encouraging the slap?

I took my daughter to city saints/ city last season (we all know how ell that fixture went) and sat in the away end before asking to be moved 30 mins in. No trouble, just the only way i could take her as there is not a chance in hell im paying 30 quid for the "privilage" to take her to one game (cityzen) on top of the price of the ticket.

Did we deserve a slap?

They'll sell to anybody but if you or I sell to an away supporter we're looking at a 3 match ban if he/she is identified.

With good intentions ..........

I thought that was one of the better overall City performance we've had against us in a while, but at the same time I thought Everton were very poor, and I find little satisfaction in watching my team constantly give the ball away, and offer very little in attack, which allowed City to dominate us. Everton have been below standard for 2 seasons, and although we're defending valiantly, once again we fell foul to a cross, which has been our Achilles Heel for such a long time.

Koeman's style of football appears to be a strong defensive attitude with long balls up to a front 3, and it's not to my own liking, but he needs time. Certainly I didn't see the inspired performance I'd anticipated, and dropping Barkley and Mirallas meant we didn't have the counter attack I was expecting. We're miles behind the side that Moyes left us in terms of teamwork.

If I were to be critical of City, it's that they try to play the ball into the net, and possibly over-complicate things, but that seems to be the modern way to play, like it or not. I liked the look of Leroy Sané. Your defending was decent, despite Lukaku tearing it a new one, but that was the only thing he did all game really, and he only came to life in the final 3rd. You're a talented side for sure, but a bit predictable in attack, and maybe you need to shoot a bit more and trust to luck.

You can't read too much into the penalties, but you'd expect City to score them and our Keeper did well. Again, City were by far the better team, but Everton are turning into Stoke or Crystal Palace, and our fans are far too acceptant of what is in my eyes a very average squad. I expected City to control possession, and they did, but as much as I was impressed by most of what City offered I was disappointed with Everton, so a point under the circumstances is a bargain.

All the best.

Fair comments.
I actually thought City dominated far more than last season's LC Semi final, but that's football.

The one Everton player I can't understand. is Deulofeo, who always seems to look brilliant on TV highlights, but obviously flatters to deceive.
I was supping with a couple of Everton fans before the game, and they were scathing of his efforts.

Good to see Gareth Barry doing well, and Ashley Williams looked solid.

We could introduce a "neutral" section then, like they do at Fulham

I'm not worried about today. It was frustrating to drop points, but we played very well and but for the penalty misses would've won comfortably. A temporary blip. Some of our football was mesmerising at times.

Why was the GPC there? The Jinxing **** thank fuck Nolito didn't forget where the back of the net was...
Played some cracking riveting football today which is why it feels like a loss, we should've could've won that on another day bus parking wankers..

I'll leave you all with this https://my.mixtape.moe/nytmnl.mp4

If I don't get a ticket for west brom off blue moon I will buy one from them when they go on open sale, does that mean I deserve a slap when I'm sat in their end,I love my team and will go and watch them whatever.

Well said that man - A massive over reaction from some of our fans. We were excellent at times today and I enjoyed the game. We will only get better.

I've already bought a membership at WBA and a ticket near the away end as I don't expect my points will entitle me to buy one from City.
