Well done Sergio. Awesome today, in every aspect. The running stats v last season speak volumes, as they have all season for the whole team.

Well done Pep. You're going to make Sergio even better. Loving your work.

There's a thread on redcafe comparing Aguero and Ibra. Strangely enough it hasn't had a post since August, apart from the city fan who bumped it earlier.

He's having a go at the dead now...
He's definitely digging a deeper hole for the shit Andy Carroll.

I've an 18 month year old baby that would have put away more goals than that pony tailed **** in his last 5 games.

And long may it continue. May your boy turn into the new Bell and the pony tailed one continue being the stuff that comes from under a pony's tale.

just got back in after the game several celebratory beers his first goal was good but that second one wow just unstoppable is there a better striker in England, I don't think so.

Aguero overtook Francis Lee today in the All Time goals tally.

Assuming no silly injuries, he’ll probably be 3rd by the end of the season, behind Eric Brook and Tommy Johnson
You've just predicted that he might score five goals between now and May, if he stays fit. You certainly love living life in the fast lane.

Interesting stat from Danny Murphy on MOTD: "He ran 10.2km today against West Brom. That is a lot different from last season when he was clocking less than eight on average."

Some people had commented before that Aguero was a little lazy and needed to be more mobile. I thought he has always been a player who likes to make runs out wide and his little darts beyond the last man demand the ball, but it seems like he too is taking on the team ethic of pressing the ball. Ina round about way he'll get more goals as a result as City will dominate possession if the forwards can defend from the front.

City need Aguero on fire to be successful so great to see him on the scoresheet again

I bet 10.2 km is a lot different than any other match for many a season that was the first proper kun show for a long time.
Either his benching has helped to cure his injury niggles or has helped to clear his head a bit

Thought he actually looked fitter than the other City players yesterday, which is tribute to great management by Pep, to see him through the post international break fatigue, plus loss of confidence due to shit penalty misses, & ease him back in, rather than chucking him in willy nilly & having him totally shagged out & probably injured, as 'some managers' would most certainly have done.

He is doing the same with KDB & trying to do it with Vinny.

Looked a yard quicker too & was playing with his head up, looking for passes & options as well as openings for himself. Excellent.

Looked a lot more like the player we signed yesterday than the somewhat selfish and slightly lazy player of late.
I wonder if pep and him have had a proper talk and got him motivated again

His goals and overall play were first class yesterday. That little dink between the defenders for the assist to Ilkay though, sublime.

He was fantastic yesterday, back to his best, great goals, great movement, playing for the team, sorted out head-butt boy

Makes no difference anyway, but I'm pretty sure the little dink was meant for Spanish Dave
