Looking at the table now that we are a quarter of the way through the season you can see tings starting to take shape, one point to consider already is that after 10 games Us, Dippers and Arsenal have all won 23 points, if this level continued for the full season it would give a total of 87 - 88 points.

The rags have just 15 points so far, for them to get to 88 points they would need another 73 points from 28 games. So they would have to get an average of 2.6 points per game for the rest of the season. This means dropping no more than 11 points for the rest of the season and that just isn't going to happen.

Being 8 points behind 3 teams already means the 4th place is going to be very difficult to get and this year I can see maybe 72 points being required to get 4th. So they would be looking at having to get a minimum of 2 points per game from here in.

They are fucked already.

Unfortunately, they will always have the financial resources to compete. If those players were performing then it would be a big issue but they're not.
There is little strategic direction though and they are many years behind us in terms of football development. A few years out if the champions league and they start to lose their casual fan cash cow. Then it starts to get more and more interesting.
The financial resources don't last forever if they don't start to win trophies regularly. IF the miss out on CL this season, they lose £22m from that Adidas deal on top of the CL money. Of course that hardly means any financial trouble or even close to it, but its a start.

Nonsense, they'll put a blinding run together, any day now and win it by Easter.
You're forgetting about the legendary comebackability™ that's so ingrained in the DNA of that magical club.
And don't be surprised if this is the season that Antony Martial is finally crowned world player of the year, either.

Why, yes, I have breen watching Sky Sports News all day. However, did you know?

You know I know a rag who genuinely 100% believes that they once won the League by Xmas when GPC was in charge, he just won't accept that this is not possible, no matter how i try to educate the mutant prick he just refuses to believe it.

Beaky keeps trying to do the bicycle kicks,if he wasn't such a poser he would just stick his laces through shots the old fashioned way

Interesting from Raiola:

"I wasn't paid a fee by Juventus. I have to see how I can phrase this in a way that Juventus cannot tackle me through the law, let’s see... Hmm. How can I say it?"

After a long pause, he added: "Yes, in this deal Juventus was not the only owner of the player’s rights."

So who paid him?
