Dunno why really but I was dead pleased to see him have a go at Nolito after that stupid head movement on Saturday.

I know its not really important, but how on earth do Opta not credit Sergio with an assist for Gundogan's goal??

Before the kick off at WBA as Sergio was kneeling down sorting out his laces, one player patted on the head as he walked past and another, I think it was Kolorov, bent down and kissed him on the head. It was as if the players wanted to show Serge the love to boost his confidence. Seemed to do the trick.
@karen7 and @bluegirl74 are going to be well jealous.

They probably gave it to McLean - wasn't he playing Gundogan on? Or was that the other one?

DT today are out with the 'crowbar' and 'it is thought' all is not well with Serge and Pep. Like Pep said last week - if yer want to know anything, ASK, instead of going away and making it up! He's probably scored one of the best goals this side of Christmas and instead of eulogising about it, the RagDipperArseMeedya find 'an angle' to try and jolly up The Swamp Donkeys!

Anything to do with th fact the ball actually clipped off a WBA player (McAuley, I think) on the way through to Gundogan? So, technically, it wasn't Aguero who was the last player to touch the ball before Gundogan received it.

Yeah this... And if it doesnt hit Mcauley it goes to Silva who is offside. So technically it was McAuley who assisted Ilkay.

Silva was on, the young west brom lad was 3-4 yards behind their defensive line. In fact Silva could have received the original pass and passed it forward to Ilkay and still both would have been onside.

Yep; it was MacLean (number 14) who was 3 or 4 yards deeper than the rest of the Baggies' defence. Even their number 2 (Nyom?) was playing Dave and the Ilk onside. The pass from Sergio could have gone straight through cleanly to either of our two lads and they'd have been still onside.

Dinho was goalside of Maclean and Nyom, but wasn't interfering with play being, what, 10 yards away from where the ball was and making no attempt to play the ball.

What i like about sergio's second goal is the fact that a few WBA fans behind the goal stand up and applaud the great goal. Fair play to them, great goal so why not clap.

I suppose it was a bit of a novelty for them, witnessing a goal like that, seeing as they're force fed a diet of Pulisball. But no; credit where due.

Yep, Arse fans would have been claiming handball, Liverpool fans an elbow and the rags would have wanted a penalty and a red card for Sergio.

I found it hilarious that McClean turned to the assistant and appealed for offside despite playing IG on by around two yards.

And the rest of the line stuck their hands up before noticing McClean, they did not look happy.
Yeah lad doesn't have much awareness, I wouldn't try and play offside when the ball came in from his wing if I was one of those centre halves.
