Fucking Communists on this thread need to have a bit of a think about it, how many jobs and income is generated from tourism, outside of the crown estate that pays a lot of tax. The queen more than pays her own way, its all the lower level in the monarchy that need cutting loose and be made to get a 'proper job'.

You can argue about whether her inherited right to it is correct in another thread but by law she has it and the taxpayers are paying nothing towards it this work on the Palace.

Her Crown Estate is simply paying 75% tax on profits for ten years as opposed to the usual 85%.
