So many Prem clubs are better, and richer than ever before, and better managed from front office to academy to pitch.

100% this. The rags also seem to think that only they can strengthen in each successive transfer window while the rest of the Prem can't. 20/30 years ago that was probably the case, but they no longer have the monopoly on transfers, they can't cherry-pick the world's talent and leave the mediocre also-rans to the likes of us, Arse/Chavs/Dippers, etc to fight over.

Certainly a bigger win than ickle Citeh beating Barcelona. The mighty Eredivisie leaders clearly seen as the superior scalp by our impartial media.
and not forgetting it wasnt a full strength barca (according to the media) ....they must be the only side that go through a season without picking up an injury

this season they will find it very very difficult to finish top 4 , another reason top players wont walk over broken glass to sign for em

To be honest they never have

I enjoy the fact they were at best a finishing school for players Real Madrid wanted. People have always played utd but look at us, only the papers go on about Aguero to Madrid for example, nothing from those who matter ever. Nolito, Barca wanted him specifically and he chose us, Gabriel Jesus is the same situation. It is criminally overlooked imo. Top players want to come here, yes they will be paid well if they do well, that is fine with me. Utd never had this allure to top players, when you have the best young talent in the world wanting to come to you, there is something in that.

They are the British Leyland of football where once the Mini trounced them all, they have become the Leyland Metro.....red, shiny and shit.

"Wayne Rooney has been cleared following an FA inquiry into the “Wedding-gate” furore.

Football Association bosses have carried out an investigation and have fully accepted skipper Rooney’s explanation and insistence that he did not gate-crash a wedding reception.

It means the Manchester United star will not face any disciplinary action or be stripped of the captaincy over the celebratory drink at the team’s Grove Hotel"

Exactly this. I've been saying this since the imminent liver failure that once managed their club departed. Those that spout such "back" nonsense live in a delusional vacuum. So many Prem clubs are better, and richer than ever before, and better managed from front office to academy to pitch. It isn't just the rags' self-created problems brought on by arrogance and laurel-resting; it's that so many others have caught them up and passed them. They need a wholesale rebuild. To refuse to face that reality is Nero, the fiddle and Rome 2.0.
Hahaha.......brilliant!

Great whitewashing from the FA.

'Mourinho has warned French forward Anthony Martial, 20, his chances are running out.'

I think this guy has big potential, and under Pep, could really excel. Unlikely, but what are peoples views on this guy?

We are top heavy with forward players who can play left or right of the striker. Dropped by France and Jose isn't impressed with him. File away along side Di Maria and Memphis meat pie.

I think he's a very talented player. If we weren't so stacked with young attacking talent then I'd have him here. We don't need him.

Yeah, to be fair, I probably agree with you guys, if we didn't have Sane, then I'd probably go in for him. I guess you have Jesus coming in January, so that probably doesn't help.
