All that money spent, all that fanfare of the special one coming in, all the hype of pogba coming home, the wankathon of the suspense of bignose picking the rags, all the fun of saying Pep will rip up his contract upon hearing Jose is coming to town......
........and Watford are only two points behind them.

whilst the last few years have enjoyable too watch, and i hope their failures will last for eternity, im really getting to the point where they dont even bother me anymore. i used to be envious of their success and money and fame etc... but now it feels like we have surpassed them on the pitch, and i take enjoyment out of the fact that that must be really fucking hurting them!

I feel similar, when we were smashing the door down i watched spurs pretty closely, utd are where they were when we started to have bigger fish to fry and i refocused on Arsenal/utd/chelsea. Now it is Chelsea and arse...a bit. I still enjoy them stagnating with no idea how to arrest the issue, the table does not lie and they are that position on merit. A third of the season has gone now so the excuses wear thin 'unlucky' being the main one they like atm.

And if they hadn't fucked up against Stoke they would be ahead of them. As would Everton if they'd managed to beat Swansea the week before.

HISTORY !!!

fuck me, it must be bad if the bbc are publishing articles that write 'em off after a third of the season...

"It is only the end of November but, Manchester United's title hopes are already over"

fred done must be wondering what's going on.

I heard that if they had just won the games they had lost or drawn they would be sitting pretty on top of the league. However, this bit of wishful rag thinking does not apply to any other club.
