He' s right imo, apart from individual shiteness at both ends. Fantastic approach play constantly getting through Chelsea's defence.

Unlikely another side will create half what we did even when beating them.

We have been finishing these chances for the past 5-6 years. Why the fuck we have suddenly started missing everything is a mystery.

But it doesn't take away the quality of our approach play.

Agreed, not just for his intelligence and general play, but a leader on the pitch, something we need badly right now. pep can only do so much from the touchline, we need a Kompany type player on the pitch
 
For all the great things he's done unfortunately Aguero will be remembered for that disgraceful tackle for the foreseeable future. Love his passion but needs to reign it in.

Our defensive recruitment has been criminal since then. Wasted so much money and haven't replaced peak Zabaleta, Kompany, Clichy. In front of them we've blown big cash on Fernando, Garcia and Rodwell. De Jong and Barry had their limitations but they laid a solid platform which hasn't been replaced at all.

Kompany is the main factor, I've said it before and will say it forever, he has been and still would be ( if kept fit ) the best defender in the world. Costa ain't getting a sniff with Kompany playing today.

Yes when we started chasing the game from 1-1 we were poor, but until then we hadn't been as bad at all.

It's an obvious weakness but to say they were bad for 95 minutes isn't true.

they could easily have had more.....the goals that they scored were so easy.....go back and look if there was nay pressure on the players scoring at any time........complared to when our players are attempting to score (an example was moses on Kun).The only one we really missed was the KDB one and he should have scored but they could have had more (Hazard chance in the first half, Costa in the secondd which one wide of the post......

our defenders are shambolic one on one which is unfortunately the way Pep requires them to play...he needs to change the plan or change the defenders against the better teams (and we cant change the defenders unfortunately at this present moment in time)
 
Combination of missed chances, crap defending and dreadful refereeing lost us that. Sort one of the three out and we'd have won it

Stones is already a quality Centre Half - the underlying problem is what he's having to play with.
Scary at the end - Kolarov, Otamendi and Clichy at the back. 3 players we really should be moving on!

Pep is a class manager, considering what just happened that interview was conducted really well.
 
our defense needs sorting. Pep knows it. he has to prepare as player's (defenders) strengths now my opinion as they clearly are not able to step up to his. ( 3 at the back).

Will take another transfer window unfortunately

Bravo coming here was a mistake . it takes time to adapt- agreed. but he has been consistently poor.

When Boro & Celtic scored all our defenders were back. Same in many other cases.

They are shit in a 3 or shit in a 4 or sht in a 10.
 
People won't like this because he's young and come through the ranks but Iheanacho was absolutely awful when he came on.
